I've been a patient of this practice for some time. This was my last appointment as I'm moving. Though it may sometimes be difficult to schedule an appointment because everyone goes here, it's worth it.
The office is impeccable, they use state of the art technology, and Dr. Cucchiara and all her staff are phenomenal. It took me years to find a doctor I'm comfortable with, and I never thought I'd say I was sad to leave a dentist but I will about this practice; they're truly kind, caring, gentle and make sure you get the best care.

Dr. Gina Cucchiara was born and raised in Howard Beach, NY. She attended Stuyvesant High School and completed her undergraduate studies in Italian at Columbia University. In college, she worked on a number of clinical trials with Columbia's leading oncologists and endocrinologists.
She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated with numerous awards. During dental school, Dr. Cucchiara participated in a variety of community service and extracurricular activities, ranging from oral cancer walks to yearbook staff to pediatric and geriatric outreach programs.
Dr. Cucchiara completed her General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center, Long Island College Hospital Campus in Brooklyn, NY. She is a member of the ADA, New York State Dental Association, and Queens County Dental Society, along with a number of study clubs. She is an Assistant Attending at Lutheran Medical Center, where she is an instructor to the residents and students. When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Cucchiara enjoys cooking, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Cucchiara is a wonderful dentist. She takes her time, is very thorough and excellent at what she does. I've had cavities filled, teeth cleaned and a mouth guard specially made for me because I grind my teeth. I've always been treated fairly quickly and quite efficiently. She also treats all 3 of my candy addicted children as well and makes every visit a pleasurable one even if it entails filling a cavity. They feared having their cavities filled but with Dr. Cucchiara it was quick, painless and with ease. Thanks for all you do. Great work!

I LOVE THIS DENTIST! If you have a fear of the dentist, this is the woman to go to! She is just wonderful, and will walk you through all your fears! There is hardly ever a waiting time, unless there was an emergency, and youre in and out very quickly!

This isn't my first visit with Dr. Cucchiara, nor will it be my last. Like many people, I have a high phobia of the dentist. Dr. Cucchiara's bedside manner is so calm and comforting that it greatly elevates my fears. She also explains what she's doing before she does it and while doing it so you're not unpleasantly surprised.
Personally, I have difficulty making appointments due to my hectic work schedule, Dr. Cucchiara is very accommodating to working around this. Any fees are also explained by her office before any major work is done so you won't be surprised by random erroneous charges.

I have been going to this office for several years and was a big fan of the doctor Now she is no longer in charge of her own office. It seems hygenist is in charge and consults with doctor at end of visit. I was there from 1055 am until 134 pm (long wait) and saw doctor for less than two minutes

This was my first time with Dr. Cucchiara and I just had a cleaning done. I can't rate the Dr fairly because she didn't work on me at all and I only saw he for about five minutes. I will say that I had an excellent experience with the woman who did my cleaning. She was very educational, made me feel as relaxed as possible, and had a amazing bedside manner.
