Dr. Goldie Smith graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering. She then attended University of Florida where she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1992. Dr. Smith joined her Father in Law who had been practicing dentistry in St Petersburg Florida for forty years.
She continues the tradition to this day, performing comprehensive and quality dentistry to patients she considers to be more like family and friends.Dr. Smith is married with a grown son and her interests involve keeping up with current trends in dentistry, study club activities, and many seminar and continuing education endeavors.
Dr. Smith also enjoys painting, traveling and spending time with her family. She is a dedicated professional who loves her work and the satisfaction of helping others with their dental needs.

My last visit to Dr. Smith dental office was exactly the same as always. Everyone is courteous, professional, and understanding. Dr. Smith herself is probably the finest dentist on the planet. I feel extremely confident knowing that she always get it right the first time. Becky is the best hygienist I have ever had work on me. She is extremely cordial and explains concerns well! I never thought that I would say “it’s a pleasure to go to the dentist….but it truly is! Great office and dental staff!

I love Dr. Smith - known to her patients as Goldie. This visit was to see Lorraine, the dental hygienist, for my teeth cleaning and I rate her 5 stars for professionalism, great "bedside manner" and sense of humor. Both Goldie and all the staff have made me feel comfortable and that is saying much as I was once phobic about visits to the dentist.

I've had 2 appointments with Dr. Golbarg Smith, and both appointments were exceptional. The first appointment was needed because I was having tooth related pain and she took me in on the same day the appointment was made. After her examination, she educated me on the nature of my pain, and placed me on an anti-
biotic and oral rinse that helped to ease my pain. I was then sche-
duled for my next appointment 12 days later. At appointment #2, I was given a deep cleaning on the affected tooth and gums, with great positive outcome. Once again I was educated on preventive maintenance, brushing and flossing techniques, and the need for proper dental hygiene follow up. Dr. Smith and her staff were very courteous, timely and extremely efficient. I would highly recommend them to others, as I've already done. My youngest son is now a Dr. Smith patient!

Doctor Smith has been working on my mouth for over 20 years with a short period I went to the VA for dental work. I have always had the greatest respect for her and her staff and experienced some of the best work ever on my dental problems. I have referred a friend to her if she will ever follow thru with it and I will continue to recommend her when ever I can. Really great lady.

After my first visit with Dr. Smith, I realized that all of my previous dental experiences were cattle calls (you arrive on time to your appt. but they make you wait along with 3-5 other people in the waiting room). But not with Dr. Smith, you get one-on-one service, and you do not wait very long (if at all). The longest wait I have had was between 3-5 minutes (unlike 35-45 minutes with my previous dentist). Good quality work, and great customer service. You can't go wrong with Dr. Smith.
