Dr. Gyu Park went on to the Howard University College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Park completed his residency in general practice at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. Park developed a special interest in Endodontics while working as a general practitioner. It was extremely satisfying for him to treat patients with teeth-related diseases and cure their symptoms without having to extract the problematic teeth. Dr. Park completed the Endodontics Residency program at New York University and became a Board-certified Endodontist as a result of following his passion (Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics).
On a daily basis, Dr. Park sees pediatric, adult, geriatric, emergency, and medically compromised patients. His clinical experience includes root canal treatment, retreatment, apicoectomy, incision and drainage, root resection, hemisection, dental trauma management, autotransplantation, and intentional tooth replantation.
Dr. Park is a caring, enthusiastic endodontist whose top priority is patient satisfaction. He strives to provide personalized and quality dental care in the gentlest way possible by treating each patient as if they were his parents or family members.
Dr. Park is fluent in both English and Korean. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, snowboarding, fishing, camping, and playing the piano.

I was referred here by Comfort Dental Clinic in Fort Lee to have a procedure done. The day of the appointment, the dentist himself and the staff were all friendly and explained the pricing breakdown of everything. When I was in with the dentist, he explained the procedure I needed to get done, two options for treatment and an estimate.
However, I'm rating this a poor experience because I was referred to this endodontist in the first place for work to be done on an old root canal. All I got was a consultation and was told that Comfort Dental Clinic does excellent implants. I paid for a consultation, wasted my time, energy and gas just to be told to go back to the provider that referred me. Frankly I will never go back to Comfort Dental Clinic ever again either.

Dr. Park and his staff provided exceptional care during my root canal retreatment. Dr. Park demonstrated a gentle and reassuring bedside manner, explained all of his reasoning and recommendations clearly, and was meticulous, exact and thorough throughout the procedure. The retreatment procedure was long and tedious, but it was clear that Dr. Park was highly skilled and took all the time needed to ensure the best possible outcome. I was also extremely impressed with the office procedures and efficiency and with the communication and kindness of all of the staff. Highly recommend!

The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I was seen almost as soon as I completed the paperwork. There were no surprise fees. The dentist and his assistant was warm and professional and provided pain free service for a difficult root canal. Also I’m very grateful to have a doctor of this caliber who provides service to military families! Hats off to them and Zocdoc for making it easy to find the right doctor for every need!
