Dr. Hal Hershman graduated from Penn State University in 1974 and Temple University School of Dentistry in 1978. He is a member of the American Dental Association and continues his training with the Montgomery-Bucks and Delaware-Chester Dental Societies. He has postgraduate training in orthodontics and provides therapy to intercept problems in early childhood. He has provided traditional braced orthodontics to adults and teens since 1982. Now, he also provides Invisalign® therapy to his patients. He is a "Premier Provider" for Invisalign® placing him in the top 5% of Invisalign® dentists in the country.
Hal lives nearby in Gwynedd Valley with his wife Fran. She is the department chairperson of special education at Penndale Middle School. They have two children. Evan , a traffic and transportation engineer for a private company near the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. And Jessie who is also a dentist.
Hal spends his free time as an avid bicyclist. He also enjoys tennis and swimming. He's a certified scuba diver and has logged many hours in the waters of Mexico and the Caribbean. He truly loves the Floridian weather and has a vacation home near Naples.
