I found Dr. Wilson to be friendly, funny, honest, and helpful, and got the sense that he truly cares about serving his patients as best as possible, and helping them to keep their procedures as simple and long-lasting as he can. Office equipment is visibly dated but appeared well-kept and sturdy.

Dr Harlan was really good, he is warm and understanding as i was really anxious (i hate going to the dentist). He was very direct about the procedure I needed and told be about the options I had but gave his recommendation of what he thought was best, which was helpful and saved me a pretty penny as i found out later from google. The guy has a sense of humor and uses it well to make people feel comfortable. The equipment isn't brand new but everything was clean, hygienic and worked well. Most of all the guy has been a dentist of decades which is on the top of my list when looking for a good doctor.

Dingy office. Unprofessional front desk. Unattentive dentist.
Waited 45 minutes after my appointment time just to make it into an exam chair, then waited 30 more minutes for the dentist to walk in....great start, right?.... Aside from being called "kiddo," "big guy", and hit in the arm in a buddy-buddy way 30 times; here's how my appointment went...
I am 26 year old professional with an excellent dental plan from Delta Dental of Missouri. I have all 4 wisdom teeth, so this appointment goal was getting a plan for those. I went to this dentist as I am new in town and the office is near my house. Was hoping to have an initial consultation with an oral surgeon recommendation, followed by another appointment for cleaning, then taking care of my wisdom teeth in the winter.
This dentist never asked my plan or my expectations for the wisdom teeth. He looked at my teeth, suggested he could "pop" a few of them out (not same day) to save me some money over an oral surgeon. I appreciated the candid suggestion, but at the end of the consultation (I guess that's what it was), there was no opportunity for discussion or game planning on steps forward. No estimates provided, just off to his next patient.....bottom line, all around this appointment was poor enough that I would never let this guy be my dentist. I'm finding some professionals for my oral health...not this guy.

I have been seeing Dr Wilson regularly for close to 16 years now. He is somewhat eccentric, but his work has been excellent. He has replaced crowns and installed a dental implant for me, and I am well pleased with his work.

I have 2 broken abscessed teeth that need to be extracted. My first visit was him simply looking at my swollen face and eye and him giving me antibiotics to take down the swelling and a 2 week Follow up.
Showed up for my Follow up appointment and office was locked, no one there even after receiving reminder emails and texts 1.5 hours before my appointment. Let's just say I was beyond upset. Left voicemail and received a call back with a oops I forgot from receptionist. Go back giving him a second chance now 3 weeks later to be told still have swelling so once again given antibiotics and another wait now till 21st since he will be on vacation. I also received a call 2 hours before my appointment today telling me I needed to come a hour earlier as they scheduled too many with the same time today. Dealing with this issue for weeks and still no extractions.
Let's just say, not sure how to rate him at this point. Just points and writes prescriptions so far, leaves the examining room and yells across the office to you instead of speaking to you in the same room . Never have had experienced this by a professional. If it were a friend I would have told them to wait and speak to me face to face instead of screaming from another room. Very unprofessional atmosphere from both he and the receptionist or assistant, whatever her position is. Waiting room chairs are stained and dirty, fake plants dusty etc. Dental chair arm was loose and post it notes warning chair might tip over.

Office equipment is very outdated and office staff did not seem welcoming at all. Also, since this was my first time at Dr. Wilson's office, I got x-rays done and then told I would have to come back in 2 weeks for my cleaning. Horrific!

Dr. Wilson was a previous dentist I never forgot from my childhood. As soon as I was able to venture off with my own insurance I came back to him. His receptionist remembered me as soon as I walked in, had been at least 15 yrs.
