A graduate from Cal Poly Pomona California in 1987, Dr. Bean went on to receive his DDS from the University of Iowa Dental School in 1991. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program in 1992 at nearby Scott Air Force Base.
Dr. Bean was assigned on active duty for 2 years running the Falcon Air Force Base Dental Clinic in Colorado. Dr. Bean retired from the United States Air Force Reserve Dental Corps in 2011 as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of service.
Dr. Bean has continued his education ever since by attending courses in advanced pain management, cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, implants, restorative care and root canal therapy.
Dr. Bean continually remains at the forefront of his field. He completes far more than the required hours of Continued Education each year and actively lectures to United States Air Force Dental Residence at Scott AFB. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the Crown Council, the Illinois Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Bean currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Caroline and his son Alex.

Pleasant office. Friendly service from the front desk to the providers of care. I was happy to be able to get a same day appointment with no wait when I arrived. I've been going to this dental office for many years and have never had a bad experience.

Dr Bean won the trust of my daughters when they were only 18 months old. they love going to the dentist, a visit that frightens most children. He has seen my whole family since 2001 and we have never been unhappy with the care we receive. Dr Bean and his staff always go above and beyond to care for their patients, whether it be for an emergency or just routine care. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Bean is amazing. The first time I came here I was shaking so much he could hardly do anything. These days I have no fear at all. Sandy is wonderful too and I will not see anyone else!

Always great! Staff is very caring & welcoming. My children ages 15 7 13 have each seen Dr. Bean since they were 18 mon. Even when ins. changed we stayed where we knew we would get great care.
