Dr. Hema Patel attended New York University for Advanced Education in General and Restorative dentistry and earned her Doctors degree in Dental Surgery.
She also attended Gujarat University in India and received her Doctors degree in Dental Sciences. She completed comprehensive General Dentistry Residency at the same University prior to joining New York University. These residencies encompassed all aspects of dentistry including restorative, periodontal and surgical specialties.
As an active member of different Study Groups, Dr. Patel continually completes advanced education to remain at the forefront of comprehensive dental treatment.

Didn't like the fact they took x-ray right away with out explaining me, also the cleaning wasn't done by the dentist. And when I was telling her about the things was bothering me the most she acts like oh nothing can do about not until told her that was the main reason I went to see her that the other treatments I could get them done anywhere else then she say will talk to the specialist to check on my next appointment. First time I ever saw a dentist in USA and got disappointed.

I came in for pain in my gums, I had a chip in a tooth that was allowing food particles to get into my gums and cause the pain. Right away Dr. Patel diagnosed, informed me and went to work and I was back in action an hour later!
