We enjoy every visit to Dr. Well's office. He always explains the treatment to us and answers our questions. the entire office is run in a very professional manner. Dr. Hillel Well is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Well's pre-graduate academic distinction gained him a four-year Senatorial scholarship, and early admission into the University of Maryland Dental school. While there, Dr. Well obtained a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Well went on to the University of Colorado and completed his residency in orthodontics with a master's degree in the Science of Medical Dentistry.
Dr. Well's dedication to clinical and academic excellence has earned him inductions into various honor societies, including Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, The Gorgas Odontological Honor Society, and the esteemed Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Dr. Well strongly believes in education and up to date clinical practices as the cornerstone of his commitment to excellent quality care, and therefore continues his education with ongoing coursework, and research.
Dr. Well's treatment philosophy is unique in its dedication to complete excellence. He believes in not only creating a beautiful aesthetic smile, but also carefully plans his treatment to make sure that the jaw and bite are properly aligned, allowing for maximal health of the jaw joints. This method of practice prevents the dislocation of the Temporo-Mandibular joint disc that can result from orthodontic care, thereby preventing related headaches and wear and tear on the TMJ and teeth. This method of practice takes extra time, effort, training, and exceeds current practice standards. It is Dr. Well's hope that this becomes the new standard of orthodontic treatment.
