Dr. Gao began his dental career at Beijing University School of Dentistry where he practiced after receiving his DDS and a master’s degree in Oral Surgery. In 2002, he decided to move to the US to pursue further education in science. He attended the University of Colorado where he graduated in 2009 with his PhD in Molecular Biology. Dr. Gao was then accepted to the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. There, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2010 with honors.
Dr. Gao has memberships with the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has been named Top Dentists 5280 for 2012 and 2013. Dr. Gao is committed to providing high quality care to his patients in an environment of trust and confidence as well as comfort and satisfaction.
Dr. Gao and his wife have two daughters and a son. With his family, he enjoys all the outdoor activities beautiful Colorado has to offer such as hiking, playing tennis, and skiing.

Just recently moved back to CO and needed a dentist. Knew my teeth were in bad shape and nervous. The place is very clean and modern, true it looks like it just opened! However, very cold and not very personable. Was seen almost immediately but the Hygienist wasn't friendly at all. When the doctor came in he was very quick and to the point, I needed a tooth pulled! Thought I'd be treated with antibiotics first before he pulled it but NO. I was scared of the needles and didn't 't want to do the pulling that day. His response, if I didn't do it right then, then he couldn't help me. Went thru with it and ended up in a lot of pain for a month. Needed fillings and a cleaning after that. First was told 3 fillings, 2 on 1 side 1 on the other. Go for fillings for the 2, again left in pain, they're very rough on you. When went back for last filling told I had 2 to get rather than the 1 I thought. Again he gave me speech on how if I didn't do it then he couldn't help me. I left! The receptionists there are beautiful and awesome. That office is lucky to have them! Otherwise I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Gao extracted an infected tooth and did a bone graft to prepare for an implant. I am a service technician for Patterson Dental and switched to this office because of both Dr's expertise and the new top of the line equipment. I have full trust that I am given all information and reasonable pricing. The standard of care for a practice (for informed decisions) is to have a 3D CT scanner, digital sensors and cameras and a Class B sterilizer (this office has all of these and more). If you are going to an office without these essentials your not getting the highest quality of care that you deserve.

I was a few minutes late as I got lost, but the Front Desk Staff was very welcoming and courteous. After x-rays and preliminary exam with Dental Assistant, I actually met with DR. XIAOMEI SUI. I was incredibly pleased with the dental experience and the entire Staff. Extremely informative, patient oriented, "light handed", and thorough. My examination was explained to me in detail along the way, and various treatments plans were reviewed before I left my appointment. I'm thrilled to have found my way to such a competent, talented, and welcoming Dental Practice!
