Dr. Hung D. Luong received his degree of Bachelors in Biology from Temple University in Philadelphia and his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C.. While completing his Doctorate, he received awards in Anatomy, Periodontics and Prosthodontics for being the top of his class in these fields of study along with clinical hand skills. During his last year, he was part of the prestigious prosthodontic honors program for senior Doctorate students. This gave him exposure to advanced procedures in fixed and removable prosthodontics with early exposure to implant surgeries.
He believes in continued growth when it comes to keeping up with the advances in clinical and dental technologies. His continuing goal is to rebuild and maintain healthy and beautiful smiles. With this in mind, he participates in advanced training with continuing education courses with a focus on dental implants and teeth movements.
With this extensive background and training in advance care he is dedicated to providing patients with healthy teeth and beautiful smiles in an environment where they can feel completely comfortable. His calming demeanor and professional attitude has made him an integral part of his team. Coming from a blue collar family, he understands the demands of a working class lifestyle. With this as a core belief, he plans the most efficient use of his patient’s time.
In his practice, Dr. Luong focuses his efforts on preventive, advanced restorative, and reconstructive dentistry with a particular interest in dental implants and pain management. Dr. Luong is Invisalign® and MTM certified as part of his commitment to providing patients with unparalleled, state-of-the-art care. As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Philadelphia County Dental Society, and the American Dental Association, Dr. Luong is always looking for new ways to not just learn, but contribute to the dental field. Dr. Luong is also a Captain in the US Army Reserves’ Dental Corp where he is able to give back to this great country while performing his craft. When not in the office; he can be found at home with his beautiful daughter Lilliana, son Nathaniel, and soulmate Felicia. They recently moved into the South Jersey area and looks forward to putting roots down for the next 40 years.
