Dr. Iman Ayoubi brings her expertise in family and cosmetic dentistry to Northern Virginia after several years of successful practice in Washington DC. Dr. Ayoubi is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, consistently ranked one of the top dental schools in the country. Dr. Ayoubi has extensive experience in the latest cutting edge techniques in dentistry, including endodontics, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Invisalign, and veneers. She is certified in Invisalign cosmetic braces and trained in CEREC CAD/CAM.
Dr. Ayoubi, a native of Indianapolis, graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis prior to enrolling in NYU College of Dentistry. For the past several years, she has been in private practice in the Washington DC area, where she has earned an excellent reputation among her patients and fellow dentists. Dr. Ayoubi makes it a priority to educate and help each patient make the best decisions for their oral health and achieve their personal aesthetic goals. Dr. Ayoubi cares for her patients' well-being and comfort and strives to make each patient visit a pleasant experience.
At an early age, Dr. Ayoubi was determined to become a dentist. She was inspired by her late grandfather, a dentist and academic of many years, and admired his skill and precision. Dr. Ayoubi remains fascinated by the intersection of art and medicine in dentistry.
Frequently attending educational and practical courses and seminars, Dr. Ayoubi is always keeping her clinical skills up-to-date with the most advanced techniques and dental procedures to provide her patients with the best care possible. Dr. Ayoubi is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society, and enjoys volunteering her time at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Ayoubi enjoys cycling, reading, horseback riding, and travel. She resides with her husband and four children in Herndon.

It took me a while to get the nerve to find a new dentist when moved to Reston. I finally decided on DR. Iman after many reviews. I couldn't have chosen a better dentist and she's even better than my last dentist, whom I was happy with. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and professionalism from the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Imam to anyone and happy with my new dentist.

This was a great visit! The hygienist was really great and did a wonderful job explaining the x-rays and different cleaning options. They took a great set of photos that helped me understand and clearly see the build up on my teeth. Loved the dentist and how thorough she was with me. I was really impressed with the explanation of the benefit coverage. I'm in HR and have to say this was the best experience I have had in a doctor's office. It's only my first visit so we'll see how the next visit goes but so far - two thumbs up!!

For my first visit at this practice, I did not have to wait long to see Dr. Ayoubi after having my teeth cleaned. She was very informative and great at explaining medical terms in a way I could understand them as a patient. She was patient and allowed me to ask questions without making me feel she was ever in a hurry to see another patient. I plan on returning back for regular visits!

After seeing many different dentists in Virginia, I felt discouraged. I really wanted a dentist who could give me answers, time, and empathy. I decided to try out Dr. Ayoubi's office and I finally got everything I needed! Both the hygienists and the doctor really take their time to get to know you and your needs, to inform you about the products you are using at home, the products they provide, and how your unique biology may affect your oral health. I felt extremely comfortable and so pleased to be in the care of these kind people. They use very modern equipment and they even allowed me to watch The Office on Netflix while I had my cleaning. It was an incredible experience and I will be recommending everyone I know!!

My visit was for a cleaning, everyone knows my name and my history, I had to have x-rays and they remember that I need to use child size x-rays (I am adult).
I am not fond of going to the dentist, Dr. Ayoubi and her whole staff makes me feel relaxed and welcomed. Not my favorite thing to do still, makes me feel better going.

I really love Dr. Ayoubi! She always takes her time and makes sure to explain any recommended procedures and she has a wonderful bedside manner. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but I attribute this to her taking time with her patients and I appreciate that kind of service!

Dr. Ayoubi was amazing. This is the first dentist that cleaned my teeth, yes the actual Dr cleaned my teeth!!! She explained everything very carefully to make sure I understood the next session of treatments. She reached out to my orthodontist to be sure to get the current xrays. I will be bringing my whole family here, great dentist. Thank you Dr. Ayoubi.

I went to Dr. Ayoub for a second opinion. She did an overview exam of my teeth and then presented me with alternatives, with prices, for a replacement filling. I then returned and had the filling done. I did not want anesthesia, which she did not use. During the procedure she let me know what she found and what her recommendations were. She went with what I wanted to have done. Now three months later, the filling is holding up well, feels good, and I am very pleased. I plan to make her our regular dentist. ~ LCR

On my first visi to Dr. Ayoubi's office today, I realized that she is the best dentist I have ever visited. I recommened her to a friend in DC already. She is so detail-oriented and informtive. Her office is fully equipped with state of the art technology and she is very relatable. I really enjoyed my visit, as I was able to watch TV while I was having my teeth cleaned! I highly recommend Dr. Ayoubi.

Dr. Ayoubi is very kind and generous with her time and expertise. She is extremely thorough in cleaning your teeth and explains causes and preventative measures that may be taken for any problem areas. The equipment at her office is top notch and clean. I was given the option to watch TV (there is cable!) during my dental exam. Plus, she gives out goody bags with toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss and mouthwash :) Definitely the best dentist I've ever seen!
