About Dr. Khaled Katmeh

Dr. Katmeh received his dental degree from Syria. After finishing his degree, he moved to the states, where he conducted research in many fields of dentistry, including Orthodontics and Periodontics. Dr. Katmeh then started his residency in Periodontology and Implantology at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During his residency program, he additionally obtained a master’s degree in the field of Biomaterials, winning multiple research awards for his thesis, Non-Contact Index of Periodontal Inflammation. After completion of his specialty in Periodontics and the master’s in Biomaterials, Dr. Katmeh completed a one-year fellowship in Implant Dentistry, where he treated more complex surgical cases and became involved in the restorative phase of implant treatment. He started teaching and supervising periodontal residents at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine during this time and continued to teach for about a year before moving to private practice. Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery.
