Really enjoyed my experience visiting Dr. Asmarandei for my bi-yearly cleaning! She and her dental assistant were very helpful and informative. My only complaint would be that I waited about 20 minutes past my appt start time, but outside of that, it was a great experience

Dr. Iohana A. Asmarandei obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from New York University. She continued her studies at the dental school at NYU and received her DDS degree when she graduated in 2002. After graduation, she completed the residency program in General Dentistry at Coler-Goldwater Hospital on Roosevelt Island where she excelled at all aspects of dentistry, as well as techniques of anesthesia. During her residency, Dr. Asmarandei also had a rotation at Belleview Hospital where she gained much experience in oral surgery.

After a good visit myself, I took my daughter too. She had fun with the different animal brushes that she chose and was very happy with her stickers and rewards. I will take her back every 6 months, as recommended.

After my visit with the doctor and dental hygienist I took my kids and wife to see them and my kids was happy after the visit with both the doctor and hygienist. The kids loved getting their teeth cleaned now. And the assistance are very nice to the patient.

It was wonderful. My experience with Dr. A was phenomenal. Im not afraid of the dentist no more. She was so gentle. Thank you Doctor Asmarandei. And the dental hygienist is also the best. She knows how to make you feel relaxe while cleaning your teeth.

The doctor was very nice, gentle and respectful. She let me know exactly what was needed. The staff is friendly and the hygienist did a good job on my cleaning, helping me get better on my oral hygiene with great tips. Great experience overall.
