A native of Provo, Utah, Dr. Jorgensen studied at Brigham Young University. After working for a few years in a family business, he decided to return to his true love of science and combine it with his desire to serve and care for others. Dentistry more than fit the bill! He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1991. While in school he received numerous awards for clinical excellence in oral medicine, prosthodontics, and dental materials.
Upon graduation, Dr. Jorgensen completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at University Hospital in Salt Lake City where he gained an appreciation for the dental care of patients in delicate health. Upon completion of his residency, he entered public health services and practiced community health dentistry for more than four years. Both the residency and community health service gave him valuable experience that prepared him to successfully enter private practice.
Committed to a lifetime of learning, Dr. Jorgensen continually exceeds the minimum number of state- required continuing education hours every year. Since leaving dental school he has studied and attended courses in implants, dentures, crowns, bridges, root canal treatment, periodontal therapy, the use of modern dental materials and techniques, pharmacology, oral diseases and early oral cancer detection. Most recently he has taken advanced classes in the placement of Lumineers, and placement and restoration of mini implants and conventional implants.

My first visit exceeded my expectations which were high to begin with. Covid-19 procedures were excellent. ALL personnel were helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Both dental and financial procedures were made clear. The technology used by the dental staff was amazing in its thoroughness and timeliness. I'd never seen some of them before, such as the instant availability of the x-rays. I could go on and on, but I think that it's clear that I am delighted with Dr. Jorgensen and his staff.

I read many reviews that recommended Jack Jorgensen's office. When I arrived the outside looks dated and threw me, but inside is updated, very clean and smells great. All staff, including Dr
Jorgensen are very friendly. I am pregnant, did not want x-rays and Dr. Jorgensen made me feel supported in my choice. My dental hygienist talked me through what she was doing and was very, very gentle. Pleasantly surprised with my visit today and highly recommend. I was also informed they do not use flouride on pregnant women, women who are breaths feeding and until a child is over 5. That was very reassuring to me as I do not like to use flouride and was a concern as I did not want to expose my baby to it.

He is the only dentist I have been to who really makes dental work pain free. I also appreciate the "one-stop" crown service-- he can usually make your crown in-house so you can come in and leave with your permanent crown in about two hours. My work today was to install a zirconium crown, (it was for a back molar, so it needed to be extra strong), so I did need two appointments because he can't do those in-house. However, he had fitted me with the most comfortable temporary crown I've ever had, and the permanent crown was installed today in under an hour and was perfect as installed, no adjustments needed. Dr. Jorgensen also is very kind, and his staff are all great and very nice too.

All the dental hygienist’s are outstanding and make sure I leave with as much tartar gone as possible. I appreciate the estimate provided from the front office staff before I have a procedure.

After a long appointment, Dr Jorgenson called the next day to ask if I was doing well. Of course, I was... Dr Jorgenson is a great dentist. I appreciate the skill and knowledge of each staff member. When I schedule an appointment, I always know what my cost will be. No surprises. My comfort is always at the forefront of their minds. I have not had dental maintenance done in years. He replaced some old fillings and crowned one that had a large filling that was splitting. I was so impressed. I didn't feel any pain when I had the dreaded mouth injection, nor while he was drilling. He has several gadgets that makes the experience okay. I will not hesitate to go to the dentist anymore.
