Voted “2008 Best Dentist” by Readers of The Plano Insider and received the Patients' Choice Winner Award in 2015.
Dr. Adkins attended SMU in Dallas for his undergraduate work and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He has gone on to receive hundreds of continuing education lecture and course hours to stay current with State-Of-The-Art Dentistry including the completetion of a post graduate program in Esthetic Dentistry.
Prior to opening his practice in Plano Dr. Adkins served as a dentist for the U.S. Army at Fort Meade, MD, as well as for the Dallas County Dental Health Program.
Dr. Adkins is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society.

The receptionist didn't run my insurance prior to the appointment but told me that they accept it, her neglect ended with me having to pay out of pocket. I am active duty military and had to pay for my cleaning because someone didn't do their job properly! Very dissatisfied with the professionalism of the front desk. I literally had to pay for the mistake of the receptionist. However, the Doctor himself and his dental staff were good.
