Office was a little bit hard to find, and a little bit old/dingy, but Dr. Stevens was very nice, the appointment went very quickly, and I didn't have to wait in line at all.

DR. JAMES B. STEVENS has the gentlemanly ways of a southerner having spent his formative years between Georgia and southern Virginia.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School in Washington, DC. He went onto complete an undergraduate degree in computer science.
After several years in the technology industry, he realized could help his community by entering the dental field. Looking to follow in the footsteps of his cousin also a dentist, he enrolled in Howard University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Stevens has been an anchor in the Downtown Silver Spring community for nearly 30 years. He treats generations of patients, from grandparents through their grand-children.
He takes pride in his work, and enjoys the challenge of every procedure. His ultimate goal is to give each patient a smile they can be proud of.
He is patient, understanding, caring and meticulous. He explains the treatment process every step of the way and always takes the time to fully inform the patient and answer all of their questions.
