I'm 44 years old and first time to get a tooth extraction...nervousness set in on overload from horror stories. I must admit Dr. Pope is a true professional. He and his friendly staff set me at ease. He took his time and explained everything, gave me options, and the environment wasn't bad at all (dental assistants). Overall, a great experience. I would recommend him to everyone who needs dental care. He's true to his craft.

Dr. Pope is a Louisiana native. He enjoys hunting, fishing and is an LSU sports fan. He attended college at McNeese State University receiving a B.S. degree in Biology/Psychology. After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry, he has been practicing in the Baton Rouge area for over 20 years.
Dr. Pope is very proud of his personable and knowledgeable staff. They will make every effort to exceed your expectations during your dental experience.
The office is equipped with new digital x-rays, large LCD T.V.s, intra-oral digital photography, the latest computer technology and dental chairs featuring gentle massage. With this exceptional facility, Dr. Pope and staff offer excellent dental treatment in a gentle and timely manner.
Dr. Pope is a member of the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
Lastly but most importantly, Dr. Pope is a Christian man who has a strong faith and treats his patients to the best of his ability and believes that God maintains a presence in his practice.

I as a patient and pt's mother love Dr. Pope and his staff! Not only does he treat you but understands the financial side and gives you all the options and explains each one from temporary & long term. His staff are amazing we wouldn't change dentist for anything. My son Kain has been seeing him since he was about 5-6 and Dr. Pope & staff has always made him feel 100% comfortable.

Everyone in the office are exceptionally professional, compassionate demeanor and warm dispositions. The are not many practices that have all the above characteristics. This is more than a practice, it's a family.

Our entire family visits this office & each & every time they are prompt, courteous, & professional. We receive thorough checkups from the hygenists & Dr. Pope always checks each patient after each cleaning. I highly recommend this dentist & staff to anyone looking for good, dependable service.
