About Dr. Janet Mason
For over 30 years now, Dr. Mason has worked hard to build relationships with her Garland patients that stand the test of time. She always wants to provide an experience that is both clinically excellent and very comfortable! If you’re interested in learning more about her, just keep reading below.
WHY DID YOU BECOME A DENTIST?
During her childhood visits to the dentist, Dr. Mason was taken good care of by an assistant who was always so kind and nice to her. She eventually decided that she wanted to be just like the assistant and help others feel good and happy when they visited the dentist’s office – and the rest is history!
WHERE DID YOU STUDY DENTISTRY?
She pursued her dental doctorate at Baylor Dental College, graduating in 1991. Today, she is certified in oral sedation and has also been inducted into the International College of Dentists!
OUTSIDE THE DENTAL OFFICE, WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO?
Dr. Mason and her husband Steve have two grown daughters and a “grand dog” named Flynn. When she isn’t busy caring for teeth, her favorite hobbies include bass fishing and fly fishing, kayaking, camping, relaxing with yoga and Pilates, playing pickleball, snow skiing, baking, cooking, and traveling with her loved ones!

Heather and Tammy at the front desk were very helpful through out the entire process. My first dentist appointment using zocdoc was cancelled and I was quickly able to book with dr. Mason. When I called the office to confirm they were very polite. My hygienist was Heather, she was very gentle when taking my X rays. And then when I talked Dr. Mason I felt as though I was in good hands. I live in Dallas so the drive is kind of icky but these ladies are more than worth it !
