Dr. Jason Bae was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he graduated from Punahou High School (former President Barack Obama’s school). He attended UCLA for his undergraduate studies and was first interested in dentistry during his part-time employment in an orthodontist’s office in Westwood, California. He decided to move even further east for dental school at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. It was there he knew his passion for medicine and surgery would be a perfect fit as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His specialty training took him to lower manhattan at the NYU College of Dentistry. During this time, he received his medical degree at the prestigious NYU Medical Center which is a top 3 medical school*, completed his internship in general surgery, and received his certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Bae attended to patients at multiple hospitals, including Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan VA Medical Center, NYU Medical Center, Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Lenox Hill Hospital, and served as a faculty member at the NYU College of Dentistry teaching dental students. He is proficient in all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, intravenous sedation, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, temporomandibular joint disorders, and oral pathology.

Dr. Bae did a great job explaining pre-op and post-op procedure. It was a quick and painless (minus the mouth pain) process and I would recommend to a friend.

Its really clean, the front office, nurses, and doctors all make you feel comptorble in the office. They get down to business and are gentle, the wisdom teeth remove was quick and well done. =)
