AT AGE FIVE, Jason Daaboul remembers watching his pediatric dentist—a Dr. J Thomas Hedrick, (who still practices in Dallas) and thinking that he seemed to have the best job in the world. The man seemed content, good-humored and appeared to enjoy taking exceptional care of his young patients. From this early age, Jason knew he wanted to pursue a career in the health-care industry.
BACKGROUND
Born in Dallas in 1974, his family moved to Grapevine in 1976 where he graduated from Grapevine High School in 1992. Then he single-mindedly set about working towards his objective.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Texas A&M in 1996 he was faced with a dilemma—whether to study medicine or dentistry. His explanation for choosing dentistry gives insight into his character. Importantly he realized that doctors have more demanding and fluctuating work schedules whereas dentists usually have set office hours—a big concern to this man who was equally determined to raise a family. The other reason he chose dentistry was because it dovetailed nicely with his artistic talent. An important asset, especially in cosmetic dentistry where a good eye for design and an appreciation of sculpture can make all the difference.
He graduated—Cum Laude—from the Dental School in San Antonio at the University of Texas in 2001 and married his wife Clarisa one month later . They now live in North Richland Hills with their two children Dylan and Lauren. His hobbies are being the best Dad, water- and snow-skiing and sports cars—he owns two.
MISSION
After working with a seasoned professional, Dr. Gary Smith, whose practice he joined in 2001 and bought in 2003, Dr. Daaboul opened his own state-of-the-art dental office in 2006 and employs a friendly, highly-professional staff. He feels it's important to stay abreast of the latest in dental technology, while at the same time tracking what works and discarding what doesn't. His mission is to provide high quality dentistry with attention to detail, in a relaxed environment where every patient feels like family.
"We want patients for life," he explained. "Quality is more important to us than quantity."

I need a lot of work done, I've been putting it off because the pain and cost I knew would ensue. Dr. Daaboul put me at ease, he is very kind and understanding. He really cares about his patients and it shows in the amount of time he spends making sure you're comfortable with the treatment. Great Doc!
