Had an implant done with Dr. Patel. Whole experience ended up being a pleasure had very little pain. Dr. Patel's assistant even called the night of the surgery to check up on me. They coordinated with my general dentist so I didn't have to worry at all and everything went perfectly I'm happy as clam!

Dr. Patel feels lucky to be a part of Gentle Care Dentists. He is from Springfield, VA. Dr. Patel obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Army. In dental school, he served as an academic tutor and teaching assistant.
After dental school, Dr. Patel became an active-duty Army officer and completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, where his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was solidified. He then completed a 4-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, NC. Dr. Patel trained extensively in facial reconstruction and dental implant therapy, anesthesia, orthognathic surgery, cosmetic surgery, and trauma. He has a special interest in full arch rehabilitation and enjoys working closely with his prosthodontic and restorative colleagues.
Dr. Patel places patient safety and comfort as his top priorities and strives to ensure a positive experience for all his patients at Gentle Care Dentists. He is excited to add to the tradition of excellence currently established by the growing team and looks forward to serving the community.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and family, participating in intramural sports, and being outdoors.

I couldn't be happier with my experience here. I needed four wisdom teeth extracted two of which were horizontal within the jaw. They were able to schedule e for a consultation and seeing the discomfort I was experiencing Dr. Patel moved things around so that he could see me the same day! I can not express how grateful I am and i refuse to go anywhere else.
