I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Rodgers. I came in as a first time patient, new to the area and had a filling fall out. Granted it's my fault for not keeping up with my dental maintenance, however, Dr. Rodgers didn't take me to task, just mapped out and structured a plan and time frame to take care of the needed procedures that were most pressing. He fixed my lost filling that actually needed a crown, and was able to do in in roughly 2 hours..... Clean the remainder of the tooth, digitally measure the crown, make the crown in his office, fit the crown, smooth the crown, and permanently install the crown! I was impressed and already scheduled the next session!
I appreciate the thorough cleaning I get at the office. I really like the way Dr. Rodgers gives me straight info about my oral health and I never get the impression I'm being sold procedures.
Had a bit of an emergency with a broken tooth. The doctor's office was very prompt and courteous getting me an appointment the same morning and I left later that morning with my tooth completely repaired. I highly recommend them.
I have known Dr Rodgers for about two years now and he has never disappointed me. He is not only very efficient professionally but is kind too.He specifically asked me to let him know if I experienced discomfort because my gums could be sensitive during a crown procedure- since I had had a root canal no anaesthetic had been administered-most dentists in this situation would have waited for me to show discomfort, I think. There was no discomfort, only a huge amount of comfort because of his question! He is also highly ethical as a practitioner and I would recommend his services to everyone.
Wonderful doctor. Addressed my needs and was very detailed. Office staff is wonderful!
Everything was perfect. Everyone who works there is very nice and takes very good care of you.
Dr. Rodgers was amazing. He designed me a crown while I waited and it fit perfectly. He and his team have a great bedside manner which was the icing on the cake.
Great service and always available for emergency support!
I met Dr Rogers about 10years ago, when he was at Webster dental. When he left I refuse to go back to the office. I kept searching for Dr Rodgers and found him about three years ago. Although his office is in Northbrook and I live in Evanston, I choose to follow him . I have gone to see him since and have no problems, with him or his staff. DR Rodgers is a very decent and caring dentist, once their you become a part of his family .
Dr Rodgers is amazing. I travel from downtown to see Dr Rodgers I was caught in traffic and late for my appointment. He was still able to take me right away and fix 2 fillings that day. The entire staff is very kind and accommodating. They all have great bedside manor. Dr Rodgers is an expert in giving novocaine shots absolutely no pain. I would highly recommend Dr Rodger
Dr Rodgers is awesome. I'm a huge baby and I always leave feeling fabulous. Also Sharon is a scheduling guru and always so pleasant to talk to.
Excellent with our 7 year old! First fillings and our son never knew that he received any shots! As always Sharon and the rest of the staff are great. Thanks guys!
I've now been to his office numerous times - shortest wait time of any doctor or dentist's office I've been to. Doc and staff very attentive and, with a crown that developed a minor problem after six months, he made a new one on the spot, said it was his miscalculation and charged me nothing for the office visit.
Dr. Rodgers is professional, thorough, and regards the patient's well being as the driving force behind the visit.
Excellent and very efficient.
Cecilia was wonderful! She listened, she explained, she had a great sense of humor and most of all, efficient and professional. The doctor greeted me and did a quick exam and then offered some recommendations.
The kids warmed to him quickly. Very steady with the kiddos. Absolutely recommend!
I am a new patient, but was recommended by my boyfriend and his family, as they have been coming to Northbrook Dental for years. I am very impressed with this office. The staff are all very friendly and Dr. Rodgers is great at what he does. He really seems to care about his patients and this is very important to me. The hygeinists are very thorough and the front desk (I forget her name) is awesome, she has been so very helpful with everything. I would highly recommend this office!
Dr. Rodgers is a great dentist. I needed to have a crown changed and the doctor recommended a pre-estimate from my insurance first. I got the estimated, called the office and the very next day, his office called me and gave me an appointment for the same day. Dr. Rodgers treated my condition and gave me a new crown the very same day. I am very satisfied and recommend him for all your dental services.
His office staff is friendly, competent and pleasant. The doctor is very competent, makes his patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Going to his office is always a positive experience. Marcy F
It was very good and I recommend him for his efficiency.
Great practice and experience. My whole family uses Dr. Rodgers.
He gave me a very honest and professional evaluation of my condition. I appreciate his opinions very much.
Friendly staff and Dr. Rodgers is great with my children's teeth!
Always a great experience there! Best dentist in 30 years of visits..
Moved to the area about 6 months ago and haven't been to a dentist in about 2 years. This is because I despise the dentist. And that is because I have a ton of cavities. Enough about me though - Dr. Rodgers was great. Excellent bedside manner, knowledgeably spoke to any questions I had, and despite only coming in for a cleaning (and to schedule the inevitable follow up appointment for fillings) Dr. Rodgers offered to fill them on the spot. This saved me an extra trip and he was also very cognizant of the fact that - if I didn't get it taken care of on the spot - I'd have to wait until January and would have had additional out of pocket fees. I highly recommend Dr. Rodgers if not for the reasons listed above, then it's because he'll shoot fire balls at the ceiling if you ask him to. Top that, America.
I'm relatively new to the area and Dr. Rodgers was recommended to me by a coworker. He's been great, though until today I'd only seen him for cleanings. Just had a crown done though, and I have to say that it was about as good as it gets. Dr. Rodgers has the milling machine right there in the office, so from start to finish my crown was done in well under 2 hours - no temporary and only one visit for everything. It's only been a few hours since I had it done so I can't say anything about the long term, but so far it look and feels very much like my original tooth. I was not wanting to get this, but now that I have it I am happy with it.
Great dentist and always friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend Dr. Rodgers and his staff.
Jay Rogers is an exceptional dentist. He is professional and humane and interesting to learn from. I like his whole office staff, they are professional and helpful and welcoming. This is a top flight dental business.
Great experience! Had a crown replaced on a Sarurday before an important business trip. Way exceeded my expectations.
Knowledgeable, good communicator, explained options well, take immediate action on meds, great assistants. Very good experience.
the best . . love going to the dentist (sad as it sounds)
Very professional I every way
Dr. Rodgers is terrific. I like him personally and I think he is a great dentist. I am try to get my wife to switch to the doctor. Brian B.
Dr. Rogers and his staff are absolutely BEST IN CLASS.
Very comfortable with Dr. Rodgers. Explains what needs to be done, takes time to answer questions and doesn't make the appointment feel rushed. The entire staff was great.
Very nice experience! I will be back! The office manager was exceptional too! I very much appreciate the time you took with me this morning! If my Crown (*that was put on by another dentist) does not improve I will schedule an appointment! It's very refreshing to see a Dental Group so committed to Oral Health! Thank You! Mark M.
Everything went well. The staff is very courteous and professional.
Dr.Rodgers is very compassionate and is also very skillful. He seems to love what he does.
I saw the doctor as a new patient in a series of appointments for help w TMJ and snoring problems. At every step Dr. Jay explained products and processes clearly - pros, cons. I'm very happy w my appliance and with the level of service
Appointment was at 2PM, I got there a bit early but Dr. Rodgers saw me right away! As usual, no pain throughout the whole appointment. I had a crown placement, filling and cleaning.
Dr Rodgers is a very knowledgeable and eccellent dentist. His office staff is very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Dr Rodgers as I have made him my new denist.
Took care of me and my son Stephen right away.
Dr. Rodgers is the best!!! We love him!!
As I told Dr. Rodgers, this was the first time in my entire (long) life I experienced a pain-free filling. It was incredible and removed all dental phobia. As an aside, he made an implant crown for me right in his office. It is the most amazing technology and is a must-see for all dental professionals.
As always he was great and the staff there is always kind
My very first time to do this 1 star review but I have to do my self a favor after a horrible experience with this dental team. I saw Dr. Rodgers last October 2014 for a general dentistry check up. On the very first day after my visit, their Office Manager or front desk person Sharon was asking me to make a great review about the services I got after the first visit. Of course, because of their happy smiles and warm accommodation, I did make my very first positive review online, giving them 5 stars (which I really regret). These are the reasons why: 1. Having issues with my teeth, I was asked to come back for a filling on one molar and was given a choice if I want to save another molar (tooth #19) or extract it. I wanted to do the former one and Dr. Rodgers recommended to have a crown on that tooth. I fully trusted this team that I did't even ask for a treatment proposal cost before the procedure was done. First and foremost, this should be the responsible of their Office Manager Sharon to check with the patient's insurance if each procedure will be covered or not before doing a treatment. The doctor just gave me a cost estimation only. My fault was not demanding from their office how much the treatment cost plan for the crown. I just crossed my fingers and gave them the go signal. In all the dental office I have visited before (including my kids' pediatric dentist), this process of providing the patient the treatment cost plan and how much the dental insurance will cover the procedure is always a mandatory procedure. This will make the patient aware about her coverage and how much will be the out of the pocket cost before the patient decide. I guess, they don't care about this, they are just after the money and leave their patients guessing how much will they pay and how much their insurance will cover them. I should have done my part too in contacting my insurance, but, isn't it this is the part of their "good service"? Making their patient knowledgable about their specific insurance coverage and out of the pocket costs? They failed on this part. 2. I felt I was being harassed over the phone by their Office Manager Sharon to give my credit card number and do the payment right there and then!!! They are aware that I will pay them through HSA check once I got back from out of the country vacation but this Sharon made me so uncomfortable with that phone conversation. And I was still recuperating from a +24hour flight and jet lag and this is what I get from their office. As far as I know, if you are a good business manager or owner, you should take a big consideration on what is happening to your patient and be patient. THIS SHARON DOESN'T HAVE GOOD BUSINESS MANNERS AND MADE ME FEEL THAT I OWE THEM BIG TIME!!!!! Lady, the procedure was done October 2014, I received the bill December 2015 while I was in the Philippines, arrived January 2015....you didn't even provide me a 30-day, 60-days or 90-days for settling my bills in which all dental/medical offices are providing for their patients? You are really just after the money, huh? 3. Because of this awful experience with SHARON, I made a letter addressed to Dr. Jay Rodgers, together with my HSA check full payment on the 2nd week of January 2015. I informed him about what transpired on our phone conversation on the the first week of January right after I arrived from the Philippines and expressed my disappointment about that phone conversation. Come February and March 2015....I didn't hear anything from him! Just a follow up or just to straighten out the issues with his staff Sharon, or just a short email or phone call so I will feel acknowledged...NOTHING!!!! I don't know if he received the letter or maybe Sharon receives all their office correspondence, she didn't inform Dr. Rodgers about this or she kept the letter...who know?!? Is that good business etiquette? Is that good customer service??? 4. Last week of March 2015, my crown is only less than 6 months old, i felt a terrible pain on my gum, tooth # 19 and the surrounding teeth. Since I have high pain tolerance, I ignored it up to the 3rd day waking up with a very swollen left cheek and jaw ( I looked like I have Bel's Palsy) and intense pain on the affected tooth. I should have contacted Dr. Rodgers about this but, I swear, I am not going back to that dental office and deal with them especially Sharon! My friend recommended me to another dentist whom suggested to see an Endodontist to see tooth #19. My new dentist prescribed me a high acting antibiotics for 2 weeks!!!! 2 weeks because of the extensive infection I got under that crown!!! And she was afraid to say that even my facial nerves on the left were affected due to the extent of this infection! In the first place, if Dr. Rodgers knew already that this tooth cannot be saved by a crown because the tooth had already undergone enough procedures before, then he should have recommended an extraction right there and then...TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!! 5. I had a root canal last week with an endodontist and this very good dentist felt so sorry about this tooth. She had to drill a hole to the crown and clean the dead nerves and tissues under it. I feel better now and the infection on that tooth, gum and cheek was resolved. But, I feel very sorry for myself that I have to deal with this and totally wasted a great amount of money because of it. Plus, the emotional stress that this experience has caused me. Be cautious!!! And, on your very first visit with them, don't let Sharon imposed on you to give them a 5 star online because thru this experience, I made a very big mistake in dealing with them.
i felt very comfortable and knew that i was in good hands.i shall recommend the practice with confidence (as i already did).
I was delighted at Dr. Rogers' mastery of the latest technologies that make treatment very quick and comfortable.
Overall, very positive. Office staff and hygienist were lovely.
I highly recommend Dr.Rodgers. Everything he has done for me was excellent and as painless as can be expected. He explains everything he is doing or going to do. I find him to be honest and very helpful in making decisions as to what is the best thing to do. You will not be sorry if you make him your Dentist.
Dr. Rodgers is an exceptional dentist who truly cares about his patients. His staff is very friendly and my visit was very pleasant. After going above and beyond outside of office hours to relieve my pain, I can sincerely say that doctors like Dr. Rodgers are very rare. I can't thank him and his staff enough for helping me. Thank you!!
I arrived 20 minutes late for my appointment and Dr. Rodgers and his team were waiting at the reception desk. He explained everything he was doing and used computer technology to create a model of the new crown I needed. I watched as a sophisticated machine, using multiple, diamond tip cutters, sculpted the crown out of a solid cube of porcelin, in 14 minutes. Dr. Rodgers polished the crown, fit it in and with a minimum of grinding once it was in place, the job was done.
Excellent! Me and my husband felt that we found the right dentist for us! Keep it up!
Dr. Rogers is amazing!
Very professional, clean atmosphere with a talented DDS making your visit to the dentist office relaxing, informative, and fun.
Jay was very professional and his assistant was a joy. I was only there for a cleaning. I could tell that he was paying very close attention to his work, as he did several "laps" around my teeth to make sure all of them were cleaned appropriately. I will return.
Dr. Rodgers is wonderful. His staff is also great - very professional and helpful.
Layla the hygienist is one of the top hygenists I ever have done work with.
I appreciated the prompt treatment and professional introductions from all of the staff. Dr. Rodgers was very thorough during the procedure and asked good questions about my dental history. The receptionist was very friendly and kind as well.
I was given Dr. Rodger's name by an event organizer who was taking care of our Conference group at the Techny Towers Retreat and Conference Center in Techny, IL after one our members had a dental emergency and had to see a dentist right away. I called his office and his assistant Sharon was very accommodating and helpful in getting us an appointment with the doctor that same day (WED-04JUN) in the late afternoon. It was after hours and Dr. Rodgers made a special trip back to his office to take care of our member. Both I and the patient are very appreciative and thankful to Dr. Rodgers for making the effort to take our appointment last minute and fix the dental emergency satisfactorily.
I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the practice. Everyone was very nice and professional and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Dr. Rodgers was one of the kindest dentists I have been to and answered all my questions. I am going back to him for extensive work and as one who doesn't have dental insurance, they make no judgements and provide fair prices. !!
Great dentist - had a root canal today, zero pain, was completed quickly. Office is very efficient - I always get in exactly at my appointment time.
