I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Rodgers. I came in as a first time patient, new to the area and had a filling fall out. Granted it's my fault for not keeping up with my dental maintenance, however, Dr. Rodgers didn't take me to task, just mapped out and structured a plan and time frame to take care of the needed procedures that were most pressing. He fixed my lost filling that actually needed a crown, and was able to do in in roughly 2 hours..... Clean the remainder of the tooth, digitally measure the crown, make the crown in his office, fit the crown, smooth the crown, and permanently install the crown! I was impressed and already scheduled the next session!

Dr. Jay W. Rodgers grew up in Geneseo, a small town in western Illinois, and received his Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois, and his Dental Degree from University of Illinois at Chicago.
After dental school, he continued his education with numerous courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as orthodontic and endondontic treatment and the management of sleep apnea through oral appliances.
Dr. Rodgers is an active member in the ADA and the local North Suburban branch of the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Jay is fluent in Spanish, and is an avid cyclist, and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, Drew, Ava and Jack.

I have known Dr Rodgers for about two years now and he has never disappointed me. He is not only very efficient professionally but is kind too.He specifically asked me to let him know if I experienced discomfort because my gums could be sensitive during a crown procedure- since I had had a root canal no anaesthetic had been administered-most dentists in this situation would have waited for me to show discomfort, I think.There was no discomfort, only a huge amount of comfort because of his question!
He is also highly ethical as a practitioner and I would recommend his services to everyone.

I met Dr Rogers about 10years ago, when he was at Webster dental. When he left I refuse to go back to the office. I kept searching for Dr Rodgers and found him about three years ago. Although his office is in Northbrook and I live in Evanston, I choose to follow him . I have gone to see him since and have no problems, with him or his staff. DR Rodgers is a very decent and caring dentist, once their you become a part of his family .

Dr Rodgers is amazing. I travel from downtown to see Dr Rodgers I was caught in traffic and late for my appointment. He was still able to take me right away and fix 2 fillings that day. The entire staff is very kind and accommodating. They all have great bedside manor. Dr Rodgers is an expert in giving novocaine shots absolutely no pain. I would highly recommend Dr Rodger

I've now been to his office numerous times - shortest wait time of any doctor or dentist's office I've been to. Doc and staff very attentive and, with a crown that developed a minor problem after six months, he made a new one on the spot, said it was his miscalculation and charged me nothing for the office visit.

I am a new patient, but was recommended by my boyfriend and his family, as they have been coming to Northbrook Dental for years. I am very impressed with this office. The staff are all very friendly and Dr. Rodgers is great at what he does. He really seems to care about his patients and this is very important to me. The hygeinists are very thorough and the front desk (I forget her name) is awesome, she has been so very helpful with everything. I would highly recommend this office!

Dr. Rodgers is a great dentist. I needed to have a crown changed and the doctor recommended a pre-estimate from my insurance first. I got the estimated, called the office and the very next day, his office called me and gave me an appointment for the same day. Dr. Rodgers treated my condition and gave me a new crown the very same day. I am very satisfied and recommend him for all your dental services.

I'm relatively new to the area and Dr. Rodgers was recommended to me by a coworker. He's been great, though until today I'd only seen him for cleanings. Just had a crown done though, and I have to say that it was about as good as it gets. Dr. Rodgers has the milling machine right there in the office, so from start to finish my crown was done in well under 2 hours - no temporary and only one visit for everything. It's only been a few hours since I had it done so I can't say anything about the long term, but so far it look and feels very much like my original tooth. I was not wanting to get this, but now that I have it I am happy with it.

Moved to the area about 6 months ago and haven't been to a dentist in about 2 years. This is because I despise the dentist. And that is because I have a ton of cavities. Enough about me though - Dr. Rodgers was great. Excellent bedside manner, knowledgeably spoke to any questions I had, and despite only coming in for a cleaning (and to schedule the inevitable follow up appointment for fillings) Dr. Rodgers offered to fill them on the spot. This saved me an extra trip and he was also very cognizant of the fact that - if I didn't get it taken care of on the spot - I'd have to wait until January and would have had additional out of pocket fees. I highly recommend Dr. Rodgers if not for the reasons listed above, then it's because he'll shoot fire balls at the ceiling if you ask him to. Top that, America.
