Dr. McKay was very timely, friendly and thorough. She cleaned my teeth and used an intra oral camera to show me a couple places in my mouth that need treatment. Her office is clean and modern, with nice decor. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. McKay!

Dr. McKay is the most thorough dentist I have ever been to before. She was also one of the most gentle. If you fear the dentist, fear no more! Dr. McKay is the kind of dentist we all hope to meet: She actually cares about your health, and wants to be sure you have no pain and are well taken care of. She uses the most up to date technology: She used a machine I had never seen before and was able to show me real time what was going on in my mouth. Without question I highly recommend Dr. McKay and I have found my new dentist for life.

Dr. Jayne M. McKay graduated with high distinction from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. After graduation she was accepted into a post graduate residency program at the Long Beach Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. She practiced dentistry as a sole proprietor in Torrance, CA for over twenty years.
Dr. McKay also taught in the dental hygiene department at Cypress College. She has taught subjects such as head and neck anatomy, oral pathology, and pharmacology.
She has been a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Harbor Dental Society since graduation and has served on many committees. Dr. McKay has trained with Frontier Dental Institute (formerly known as California Center for Advanced Dental Studies), has been certified as a quality assurance consultant by the California Association of Dental Plans. Dr. McKay is a certified provider for Invisalign and Clear Correct orthodontic therapy. She is currently a member of a Spear Education Study Club which, through continuing education and a trusted network of colleagues, collaborate on cases to give you the best possible outcome.
Dr. McKay and her husband, Jim, have four sons and three grandchildren. They are active in their community. She loves to travel, ski, cook, play the piano, and also plays oboe in the Long Beach Shoreline Winds. Dr. McKay is devoted to treating all her patients like family with honesty, integrity, and, up to date dental techniques.

Dr. McKay is the most professional dentist I have been to. The dental technology is up to date. It is fun to see my mouth and x-rays directly in front of me and the condition Of my teeth and gums be explained so thoroughly. Dr. McKay has a soft touch and makes the overall experience pleasurable.
