I've only gone to see Dr. Donelson thrice but that's enough to say I love her! She's excellent at what she does! I've never had a root canal in years and I totally forgot how that procedure goes! I mean, why would I want to remember such an experience from my youth LOL! Anyway, Dr. Donelson was very thorough and had "light as feather hands"... she made sure to give me a heads up in every step of the procedure. I came in thinking I'd have such a nightmare of an experience but what I experienced was exactly the opposite. The procedure was done within 20 minutes each visit and it was a breeze. Dental visit (much more a root canal visit) and pleasant experience don't usually belong in the same sentence but believe me, it was a very pleasant root canal experience!

Dr. Jennifer Donelson is originally from Colorado, and attended Colorado College where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She moved to Boston to attend Tufts School of Dental Medicine for her DMD degree and then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Donelson continued at Lutheran Medical Center for her Endodontic residency. Dr. Donelson relocated to Florida after her Endodontic residency; however, she realized that New York is her home and quickly returned to the city. Dr. Donelson enjoys running, bikram yoga, and walking central park with her Maltese, Violet.

She was amazing! I thought root canals were supposed to be painful, but Dr. Donelson made my experience an entirely pain-free one! It was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone who needs an endodontist.

Dr. Donelson was fantastic. I didnt feel a thing for my root canal, the procedure was done in almost half the expected time. She was thorough and efficient, as was the entire office and staff. And the views from the offices weren't too bad either.

Dr Donelson was very friendly and professional. She explained everything she had to do from start to finish. Her staff is just as friendly. I made sure to book all my appointments on early Saturday mornings and never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. I had to see her a total of 4 times because of my crazy tooth but I have no complaints about the work she does.

Dr. Donelson is fantastic! I had to re-do a root canal and was not looking forward to the appointment at all. Upon arriving to the office, I was seen within 5 minutes. The office is neat and clean. The ladies at the reception and the assistants are helpful and friendly. When Dr. Donelson started working on my root canal, I expected major pain and discomfort but it was actually the opposite. I felt no pain and minimal discomfort. My treatment required two appointments and both were equally pleasant. She is professional, thorough, calm and informative - explaining clearly the steps of the treatment. Highly recommend Dr. Donelson and would absolutely go back if I needed another root canal.

She did her best to make the root canal as painless as possible for me and she and her dental assistant worked well as a team together.
