Dr. Jerald Bates (Jerry) opened his practice in Woodinville with the vision of treating the entire family's dental needs. After graduation from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, he served as a dentist in the Navy for two years. Then, he and his wife Carol, returned to Woodinville, a community where they wanted to raise their family. Dr. Bates has become a symbol of quality dentistry in the Woodinville community having served family dental needs for many years.
Dentistry continues to change with our changing times, and Dr. Bates is tenacious about seeking out the best available products and techniques for his patients. He pursues continuing education, participating in local study clubs with other leading dentists, and seeks out seminars and workshops to stay current on the latest technology and techniques available in dentistry. Dr. Bates is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society.
If you have met Dr. Bates, you know he is a dentist who cares about the whole person, not only their dental needs. This concern for people carries through to his dental team, his family, his coaching, and everywhere he comes in contact with people. Perhaps this is the reason his dental team continues to vote Jerry "Best Boss!"
Dr. Bates enjoys family - most especially his 11 grandchildren. He is an avid sports fan, including watching his grandchildren's games, the Mariners and the Seahawks.
