I have being seen this dentist for years. I would never change him. I don't know what will I do if he eve retire. He is very friendly, knowledgable and very professional. Also, he has the most gentle hand.

Our goal is to provide quality care in a state of the art , friendly environment.
Dr. Jerome Lustbader completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University in 1975 and received his D.M.D. three years later at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. In practice for 32 years, Dr. Lustbader is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, First District Dental Society and the New York State Dental Society. Married with two grown children, his daughter, an attorney, and his son, a medical student. He enjoys sports ,automobiles, and Colby, his miniature schnauzer. He is also a volunteer with the NYC Medical Reserve Corp.

I thought the whole appointment was fine. Staff was very nice. Dentist came in and looked at my teeth for about 30 seconds and then left. Could be a good sign but it felt pretty rushed. Hygienist was friendly but a little sloppy with my cleaning.

He was efficient, professional, I thought i had a problem, x-ray taken, nothing, said to contact him if the slight pain I had continues, and he didn't charge me. Now that was impressive. Pain gone, so maybe I overcleaned and took too long to visit him so it got better.
In the past, he saved me having to have two front teeth extracted which the orthodontist and periodontist said I needed to do but he did not. It is now about 4 years and the teeth are doing fine! He further gave me info to send to my insurance, who agreed the teeth did not need to be extracted, and I didn't have to pay for work I didn't need to pay. I am forever grateful.

No pain whatsoever, only a tiny pinch. I was very nervous, and he took that into account. 3.5 hours later I still can't feel my face - so I kind of wish that they advised on eating beforehand (I'm now starving!!) There was also a little sharp bit on my filling that he didn't seem to believe me was there, I went back in to get it 'buffed' down but it is still kind of there. All in all it was fine but not earth shatteringly amazing.

He was pretty good, just not super personable. It felt a little rushed compared to other dentist visits in my experience, but they answered all of my questions patiently. I would recommend, and go again.

Dr Lustbader was wonderful- a very pleasant visit. He is upbeat and professional and gets the job done quickly. I trust his judgement, he is honest and up-front. I had a lot of work done- and with no pain! I highly recommend him.
