Overall pretty good. Didn't feel any pain during the cleaning. It did feel pretty rushed. But she still did everything that is supposed to be done during a semi-annual dental cleaning.

Dr. Piya was very personable- she shook my hand upon meeting and made me feel welcome and in good care. She made effort to explain the details of the appointment and charted a clear path forward for treatment. Furthermore, her staff, from the hygienist to the front desk clerk, were polite, professional, and thorough. I'll be happy to go back to see Dr. Piya at Prospect Dental.

Dr. Piya was efficient with our time but allotted plenty of attention in explaining her observations and answering my questions. The appointment went as smoothly as it could have, my only reservations are that the interactions/handoffs between the dental assistants and the doctors seemed to have a little bit of friction/inefficiency.

I have anxiety about dentists and neither Dr. Piya nor the nurse did much to assuage my stress. I'm going back because I think she is a good doctor and they've built out a treatment plan for me, but I might just take care of the urgent stuff there and find someone else for my long term dentistry needs.

Incredible dentist! I was seen immediately and she actually did my cleaning. Which is so rare these days. Also, her dental tech was the sweetest lady ever and kept checking if I was okay. Highly recommend!

The dental team at Prospect Dental went above and beyond to provide me with excellent service! As a new mom, I've put off going to get my teeth cleaned because I haven't had anyone to care for my nine-month-old. Finally, I decided to just take him with me. From Sujie (receptionist), to Matilda (dental hygienist), to Dr. Piya (dentist) everyone came together to care for my son while I had x-rays taken and keep him happy while my dental work was being done. When it was safe, they even allowed me to hold him while they continued to clean my teeth. And to top it off, Dr. Piya was so gentle and I felt no pain during the cleaning or dental procedure. When I thanked Dr. Piya for all her wonderful help she said, "We all have to help each other, right?" Amen! Prospect Dental - thank you all so much for your help and wonderful care for a mama in need!

I arrived 15 minutes for a 9:00 AM appointment and found the front door shut and locked. The person with the key arrived 10 minutes later. Not professional.
The dentist's assistant never introduced herself to me. There were not full walls between the dental chairs, and the receptionist could see me during the entire cleaning--not much in the way of privacy. No one explained what they were doing to my mouth or why. The gum line of each tooth was poked in six different locations, and it was extremely painful. The cleaning itself was not much better, and despite having no cavities, I somehow left with recommendations for graft surgery, a filling on a small hole on the front of a tooth (which a previous dentist had told me was purely a cosmetic issue), and a night guard that "might help" my teeth grinding.
There are so many dentists in the greater Boston area; I chose this one because it was a "preferred" dentist according to my insurance, but I will not be back.
