Second visit to the doctor for regular six month cleaning. He identified a potential cavity and took preventive measure to fill it. Anesthetics local injection professionally applied, no pain at all. Thorough cleaning, would definitely go back on a regular basis.

Jesse is by far one of the BEST dentist out there. He make you feel right at home when actually you are at the dentist...that's a big deal because we know how those visit can be sometimes. He is very informative and explains everything he will do, has done.

I was very impressed with the service that Dr. Hwang and his staff provided leading up to and during my appointment. I left the office feeling good about my teeth, and I can highlight a couple of points that stuck out at me.
- The office was able to send me paperwork beforehand. This was very helpful because it meant that when I arrived for my appointment, I was able to get started right away.
- I did not feel embarrassed discussing any of my dental history with Dr. Hwang. He was quite understanding of the special circumstances of my dental history, which I was appreciative of.
- Dr. Hwang took the time to actually take me through my x-ray as well as the specific part of my teeth that was bothering me. I've been to other dentists where they just tell you what's wrong, but Dr. Hwang was able to articulate what was wrong, what that meant in the bigger picture, and the best way to address it.
- Dr. Hwang's office was clean and had a great view of the city. It was also quite convenient, located very close to major subway lines as well as the crosstown bus. I live and work on the west side and was initially apprehensive about going to the east side for my appointment, but this was a non-issue.
- Finally, I feel confident that Dr. Hwang and/or his office will follow up with me before my next appointment.

Dr. Hwang is the BEST! He is SO nice and friendly, gentle (which is important when using sharp objects in one's mouth), really smart, explained everything really clearly, and made me feel super comfortable during my entire visit. The office is also extremely nice and seems very well run. The office administrator explained how the insurance would work with the procedure I needed, and she submitted the claim estimate for the procedure to my insurance ahead of time so that I would know how much would be covered and what to expect. Really just an all around lovely and pleasant experience, which says a lot considering how many people dread going to the dentist!

Dr. Jesse Hwang was a very competent dentist and had a good bedside manner.
However, this practice seems to be very focused on profit generation. They seem to frequently recommend expensive treatments that are not covered by insurance.

Dr. Jesse Hwang was quite a discovery! I have had some bad experiences with dentists in the past and I was so tired from trying to find one I could trust. I think I found what I was looking for in Dr. Hwang. He was kind and professional and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about all the treatments recommended. His staff was courteous and professional and very personable.Thanks to Ms. Luz for dealing with my insurance and making it so easy for me to understand. I'm so pleased I decided to visit the Cosmetic Dentistry of Manhattan and I'm sure I'll be back for future maintenance with Dr. Hwang.
