Dr. Jessica Rubin grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland and graduated from the Honors and Gemstone programs at the University of Maryland, College Park, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in History. She was awarded a Recruitment Scholarship and a State Senatorial Scholarship to the University of Maryland Dental School, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2005. Following dental school, Dr. Jessica completed a residency in general dentistry at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Dr. Jessica lives with her husband and two young children in Washington DC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading, traveling, hiking, and kayaking.

Dr. Erica was filling in for Dr. Rubin (I knew this ahead of time). She was great. Knowledgeable, personable, and quick with her exam + cleaning of my 3 yr old kids' teeth.
They have toys in the waiting room and give the kids a token after their visit to get a toy out of the vending machine. The kids didn't want to go home afterwards!

This was our 1st visit and my husband and I were very pleased with the dentistry services our son received.
The front desk staff are very friendly and the dentist who examined my son's teeth is very knowledgeable.

Dr. Rubin is out on maternity leave, so Dr. Erica saw our 3.5 year old son who has terrible anxiety about the dentist. He was still a crazy lunatic, but we got through it and she and the hygienist were wonderful!

We visited for a consult after things didn't go so well at my child's previous dental practice. Dr. Erica took the time to talk to me (!!!) about what would need to happen and when. I really appreciated that. I loved the fact that everyone was nice and willing to answer basic questions on what to do and when to be concerned. We will be back.

Overall excellent treatment, wait, bedside manner, etc. Minor feedback: I was disappointed that one of the staff who was going to give my daughter a token toy (as every little kid receives there) kept pushing a "princess ring" on my daughter. My daughter was more interested in the dog prize than anything else. I'd appreciate if they were more conscientious about not stereotyping patients based on gender.

This was the first visit to the dentist for both my girls. The office was fun with lots of bright pictures and toys for the kids to play with in the lobby. Her staff went out of their way to make them both feel comfortable. They explained everything they were going to do before and showed all of the tools to them. They used a toy to explain the brushing and flossing. I was very impressed. Jessica was kind and very professional. She sang songs to calm them down during their cleaning and checkup. She also explained what she was looking at in their mouths to me. I would definitely recommend her and her staff!

Dr Jessica is an amazing professional and a very caring and kind doctor ! My 7 year old needed emergency dental visit to deal with complicated abcess situation and pediatric tooth extraction. Dr Jessica and her team took amazing care of my daughter , who is usually not an easy dental patient to deal with. Very thankful for all the care , attention and advise. Dr Jessica is very attentive to tiny details and provides full explanation to the parent of what's being done and needs to be done in the future

Dr. Jessica (and her staff!) were so wonderful with my kids. I brought in three kids- ages 14, 12, and 5- each with very different personalities. Dr. Jessica was so friendly, kind, patient, and thorough with each one of them. She is spunky yet mild-mannered, putting everyone at ease. I liked that she truly cared about educating the kids regarding foods, tooth hygiene, etc. She is an ethical and conscientious dentist, and completely respected my fear of xrays. :) You can tell she has a kind spirit who truly wants to help people. Plus, her office is beautiful!
