ABOUT DR. JOEL HELLER:
Dr. Joel Heller is a dentist who has been serving the Long Island community at his own practice for over 40 years. He loves helping his patients find their brightest and healthiest smiles!
Dr. Heller provides key services to the community, including family dentistry, preventive dentistry, dental surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry.
Dr. Heller's goal is to get you on your way feeling healthy and renewed. Dr. Heller and his staff are sensitive to your needs and strive to make each patient's office visit a comfortable one!
After earning his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the renowned Tufts University Dental School, Dr. Heller worked as an attending dentist at the United Cerebral Palsy Center in Roosevelt for five years. Dr. Heller attends dental seminars throughout the year to bring the latest dental technology and procedures to his patients.
He so enjoys his free time golfing and cycling with his wife Susan, an RN .
They enjoy spending time with their sons, daughter-in-laws & their beautiful grandchildren!

I have to say that the reviews were right about Dr. Heller going very quickly. My mouth feels very sore after appt but that may be because I had a lot of tartar that he needed to remove. I wish he went a tad bit slower because my mouth was very irritated. I have another appt next week so we’ll see how it goes!

not thorough at all, very fast cleaning & visit... did not listen to my numerous concerns and his evaluation of my teeth is questionable. 8 months ago, my regular denist did a minor filling, and this dentist tells me i NOW HAVE 5 CAVITIES. Strange and unsettling to say the least. not going back.

He was very nice, but I was the last patient of the day, and I had the feeling he was trying to rush me out. It was the fastest cleaning I've ever had, less than 15 minutes, and because he was rushing it was incredibly painful. He really messed up my gums on the right side, it's still sore the day after. If I go to Dr. Heller again, I will be sure to book an appointment earlier in the day and see if he treats my teeth more gently.
