Dr. Han spent a lot of time going over my x-rays with me, as well as educating me on the importance of keeping teeth and gums healthy. No dentist had ever done that before with me. His thoroughness and amount of time he personally spends with patients is uncommon, and is a great improvement to the average dentist visit.

I have been seeing the same dentist for 16 years so when I decided to switch it was kind of a challenge trying to find the perfect dentist that I can trust. Dr.Han office had me lost for words from the second I walked into the office. The staff was so sweet, helpful, welcoming and kind. Dr.Han is impressive, she took time to listen to my concerns about my teeth. She was very careful and asked me if I was okay or needed a break from keeping my mouth open. I have never had a dentist ask me if I needed a break, which is important because I don’t usually keep my mouth wide up for 20-30 minutes. I would recommend this dentist to anyone looking for a new lifetime dentist!

Dr. John Han was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in 1997, then went on to attain his DMD degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Han is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest dental treatments and technology, including cosmetic dentistry, restorative care, and TMD therapy. He also strongly believes in caring for the underserved, both locally and internationally, and has participated in dental mission trips to Honduras and Paraguay. Dr. Han is a part-time rock climbing instructor at Sportrock Climbing Centers, but lately he’s been spending most of his free time with his wife and their beautiful daughters.

I recently moved to the Reston area about two years ago and had to find a new dentist since my last dentist I was seeing for 20 years was too far. I tried several around the area and was not happy with the visits, but when I met with Dr. Han I couldn't be happier to say that I have found my new dentist for the next 20 years and more! The staff is super friendly and nice and I felt comfortable right away, which is something that usually takes a while for me. Dr. Han is such a perfectionist and made sure that my treatment was done right and took his time to explain everything and really wanted to make sure that I was satisfied to the max before the treatment was done. I could go on and on but if you want quality work and the best dental office in NOVA I definitely recommend you book an appointment with Dr. Han's practice and your teeth could thank him and his staff later :)

I've had quite a few cavities filled and a crown put in, so Dr. Han and I were best friends for a while! He was always gentle and asked if I was ok during procedures. I never had any issues with pain and he was extremely careful to make sure I wasn't feeling anything. His office staff is amazing and extremely nice. The lady at the front desk is so friendly and handles my insurance very well. She provides estimates before procedures, so I know exactly how much it will cost and talks me through other options related to my insurance. I highly recommend!

It is obvious that Doctor Han is very smart and knowledgable in his field. He takes his time with each of his patients and goes through different options instead of giving a single solution. Dr. Han was the most efficient dentist I have ever visited. In fact, he is the most efficient doctor of any kind I have ever attended. He took his time to explain everything he was doing, and why. He even showed me very thoroughly the proper way to floss, and explained the reason behind it. I highly recommend this dentist.

Dr. Han is the best dentist I've been to... His office is very high-tech, his assistant is beautiful and amazing, and he walks through each procedure that he does on my teeth. I moved to NY but I still go to him. He is _that_ good!

Doctor Han is simply amazing. My husband and I have been patients of his for several years now. We never had a bad experience. He is very friendly and compationate. He explains the treatments in detail and he takes pride in his work. Dr. Han has done several crowns and fillings for me and my husband. We both agree, he has done an excellent work every time.

Dr. Han did a great job. I was running late, and when I got there, the receptionist didn't have my appointment in the schedule from ZocDoc. No problem - after filling out forms, I was taken right away, Everyone at the office was extreme professional, polite, and informative. I would definitely recommend Dr. Han and his team to anyone in the Reston area looking for a dentist.

Took a little longer than I had hoped to be seen. He was running a little behind. But he was great. Very thorough, explained everything, answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. So if he is like that with everyone and runs behind on occasion..that's a small price to pay

Dr. Han was very knowledgeable and really takes the extra time to explain the health of your mouth to you. I appreciated his honesty and the number of options that he gives his patients to deal with their health issues.
I also loved the technology that they used in this office. They have big screen tvs in the rooms where cleanings, x-rays, etc. are completed, so that was a nice touch! I was able to see all of my x-rays as soon as they were taken. I also got to watch tv while I waited for the dentist to check my teeth. Dr. Han also takes pictures of your mouth (if you have a problem somewhere in your mouth that you can't easily see in a mirror) to show you issues that need addressed. I appreciated Dr. Han's transparency--sometimes patients need to see problems in order to believe they are real!
The only downside of this office is that they do not have a receptionist (at least they didn't during my appointment), so there was no one to greet me when I entered. In addition, the wait time was much longer than I am used to, and a basic cleaning/6 month check up took 2 hours (with no special procedures, etc.--this only should have taken an hour at the most). Luckily, I did not have anything else going on the day of my appointment--otherwise I would have been quite upset about the wait. I am not sure if this is a usual thing or if they were just short on staff this day (but I am assuming the lack of a receptionist added to the total time of my appointment).
I will definitely give them another shot since I was so happy with their dental services. I would highly recommend that you give them a chance too! :)
