After researching Dentists and how they practice I chose to go to Dr. Harman. Once their the staff was very nice and knowledgeable which of course was great. Meeting Dr. Harman I was extremely happy with his work and time dedicated to my visit. Since then I have recommended people to Dr. Harman's office and of course my husband is now a patient!

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. John Harman grew up most of his life dreading the dentist; often having a traumatic experience. Knowing there had to be a better way, Dr. Harman decided to go into dentistry, in order to give his patients a pain free experience.
Graduating President of his class in 2004 at Marquette University, Dr. Harman began practicing dentistry in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Harman and his staff pride themselves on providing their patients a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere, helping them to feel at ease and confident that they will receive the best dental treatment possible. His staff are not only friends and helpers, but individuals who are at the top of their field. With his staff, state of the art facility, and gentle touch, Dr. Harman was named 2012 Dentist of the Year by Arizona Foothills Magazine.
Dr. Harman, during his off time, loves to spend time with his beautiful wife, and 2 kids. As a dad, he spends much of his time on the bleachers, watching his son and daughter play sports. Along with staying active within his community, Dr. Harman also enjoys going hiking and skiing.

My appointment with Dr. Harman was quick, thorough and well explained. I appreciated that he took the time to go over my X-rays and pictures pictures of my teeth with me. The Hygienist was very conversational and I appreciated everyone's willingness to let me know what was going on in the appointment--explained the "why" behind each step. The Doctor wasn't overly friendly, but did a great, sufficient job at providing service as a dentist.

Seriously amazing. Took the time to educate a guy who hasn't been into the dentist in 5 + years is a very kind and understanding manner. Staff was friendly from the beginning to the end and Dr. Harman was kind, clear and took the time to explain everything that was going on. Already booked another appointment and found my new dentist. Sooooo easy and such a painless experience. I rather enjoyed it!

I didn't really talk to him very long. My issue was one for a periodontist, but he was very informative and gave me options for future care.
The best part of the visit was the assistants. They were pleasant and made me feel at ease. I was even laughing at times.
I will be going back for my regular check ups in the future.

Wow, so glad my husband and I found Dr Harman. I was dreading going to the dentist and hadn't gone in years. Dr. Harman and his staff were amazing. His office is full of the latest and greatest equipment, and he is very thorough, I feel confident nothing was missed. I couldn't be happier and will be recommending him to my friends and family. This was my first visit to Dr. Harman! His staff was friendly, and they saw me right away. Dr. Harman was very personable, gave good advice on dental hygiene, and walked through my x-rays and photos with me.
I would recommend Dr. Harman and his practice very highly!

I think he runs a very good practice. It is obvious that he treats his staff with respect. His staff appear to be happy and work well as a team. Additionally, he did the new patient cleaning himself. I usually don't think much of dentists doing the cleaning because they don't do as good a job as hygienists. However, it was one of the best cleanings I have ever had. Lastly, he takes photos of each tooth so, that the patient can see the condition that is being described. All in all one of the best dental visits I have ever had.

Dr. Harmon was awesome. His staff started early (which is extremely rare). His equipment seemed state of the art and wasn't at all uncomfortable. Finally his service was great. He answered all my questions and throughly explained every procedure and why he was doing them. This is been pretty much one of my best dentist experience.
