We came to get a second opinion regarding our daughter's cavities. Dr. Horchos was very warm and welcoming. He told us our options and answered all of my questions. I left his office reassured and optimistic about our daughter's teeth. I highly recommend this practice!

This was my daughter's first dentist appointment. Everyone at the office was great with kids and made something new and different not so scary. They were quick, which I certainly appreciate with an 18 month old!

More about Dr. John Horchos, DDS
John Horchos, D.M.D. graduated from The University of Scranton with a B.S. in biology and from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine with his dental degree. He completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He was awarded the privilege of being Chief Resident during his training.
Dr. Horchos has been in private practice since 1994. He is a past member of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dentistry faculty and is currently an Associate Clinical Professor at Temple University, School of Dentistry. His affiliations include: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Horchos is an advocate of teaching children how to swim; he contributes to a scholarship fund at his local YMCA that provides children swim instruction. He also takes great pride in the education of children and parents towards optimum oral health. He feels that his background in teaching helps him to practice the best dentistry possible.

I have worked with both Dr. Cohen and Dr. Horchos over the years for my children and the experience has always been great. The dentist is always very eager to listen to parent feedback and explain items without making anyone feel rushed. The staff that helps the dentist has great bedside manner and work in conjunction with the dentist to make my children feel most comfortable. The woman who cleans their teeth is perfect as her disposition shines through to keep the children calm. The front desk staff is kind and professional understanding we are all human.
