More about Dr. John Quinn, DMD
Dr. Quinn’s family moved to Las Vegas in 1988 and he has enjoyed growing up in our community. He attended Ed W. Clark High School and Chaparral High School. Dr. Quinn’s undergraduate studies took place at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. He also attended the new and state of the art UNLV School of Dental Medicine where he received his doctorate. Dr. Quinn is the consummate perfectionist; he is constantly striving to make everything better and never settles for less than favorable results.
Dr. Quinn has volunteered at numerous outreach clinics including the SGT Clint Ferrin Memorial Clinic, where free dental care is provided for veterans without insurance, and the Huntridge Teen Clinic and Homeless Clinic, where free dental care is provided for the needy.
Dr. Quinn is an active duty soldier in our Nevada Army National Guard. He has been with the Medical Detachment for 5 years and is currently ranked as a Captain. Patriotism, duty and honor are very big parts of his core principles.
Dr. Quinn is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and of the distinguished White Cap Institute where he has learned implantology from the renowned Dr. P.K. Clark.
In his spare time, Dr. Quinn enjoys playing all sports but he especially likes attending Runnin’ Rebels Basketball games and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) events. Dr. Quinn also referees and judges MMA events both in Southern and Northern Nevada.

Very informative. Gave me all the options. Told me what was a must, what would recommended. Does sedation dentistry which is good as my son has a nerve disorder and needs a root canal thanks to a boys will be boys accident.

I am amazed by this dentist appointment experience and so happy I found Doctor Quinn and his team via ZocDoc and Yelp. Me and my husband were able to get an appointment together and from the first call to set up the appointment through every follow up call and the appointment itself I thought to myself how rarely you meet such incredibly friendly and courteous practice staff. They really make the whole experience so amazing that you leave happy and at ease after your appointment. Doctor Quinn and his staff were professional and by far the friendliest team I had the pleasure of dealing with. I can't wait to come back for my dental cleaning. I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to this dentist! You will love it!

The office staff and dental assistant were great. However the dentist seems have an issue with providing pain management. I had a deep four quadrant cleaning, a filling and an extraction. They did not prescribe me anything for the pain. NOTHING. They called to check on me the next day which was great but decided to assure me that i'm not in any pain. I may be sore, but i'm not in pain. Well, everyone handles pain differently and I think it is sad that they didn't offer any relief. They only thing she told me to do was take Ibprofren and Tylenol at the same time. The office has a great atmosphere and friendly staff but I probably won't be returning. I have two root canals that need done next time and i'm not gonna take the chance of being told i'm not in any pain and that they aren't gonna prescribe me anything.

Dr. Quinn is an wonderful dentist. His work is excellent, and he has a great bedside manner that puts you at ease. He takes time to explain all procedures, and without rushing. He always makes sure you are comfortable. Lastly, he follows up with a call or text afterwards to check on you! It is evident he really cares about his patients, and I do not hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Quinn was very friendly, approachable and explained everything in detailed way during my visit. He didn't seem rushed or annoyed at my questions and I felt like he really cared about me as a patient.
His staff were extremely warm and inviting when I visited, and gave me a tour of the office, making sure I knew a bit about the location and Dr. Quinn before I actually saw him. Great experience, they made me feel like I've been a patient there for years - I would definitely recommend!

So far so good, he is very pleasant and outgoing. The prices there seem comparable to more of the better dentists in town, he's definitely not cheap. However, his office expenses seem to go toward buying the state of the art equipment instead of BMWs. They have a crown machine there that can deliver laser precision cut crowns same day. One day crown. I mean, come on.
