Dr. Jonathan Moy graduated from the University of Toronto where he received his Bachelors of Science. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University and continued there for a 2-year surgical and prosthetic implant fellowship.
Dr. Moy is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Academy of General Dentistry as well as a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American Dental Association.
He has been enthusiastically involved in the dental community in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, Mexico and Dominican Republic. He has given back by offering free community based oral cancer screenings.
When not in the office, Dr. Moy enjoys playing volleyball, snowboarding, rock climbing, and traveling around the world.

Very quick, but thorough visit with Dr. Moy. I was seen promptly upon my arrival. Dr. Moy provided the cleaning himself and then gave me a clear understanding of what to keep an eye on.

I usually hate going to the dentist but Dr. Moy made everything easy. I was seen right away, office was clean and comfortable, and the cleaning was painless. He's also a very cool guy and played good music while cleaning which was relaxing. I'll definitely be going back.

As someone who has a difficult time with dental work I truly appreciate Dr. Moy’s ability to make me feel at ease and thoroughly communicate each step before performing the procedure. I have been to numerous dentists through my life and he is the only one I actually do not mind seeing.

I literally walked in the door, sat down for 30 seconds and was seated in the dental chair. Dr. Moy and his assistant Kizzy were super efficient and they explained everything so well. The whole experience was seamless and enjoyable. There was even good music playing in the back! Definitely referring my friends/family.

I have a great choice of switching up with him with my previous dentist. In my first visit, we have done and planned so many things already aside from cleaning and getting x-rays.. We already made appointment for my two implants.. He explained everything on what’s going on with your teeth and things that has to be done, even the insurance he explained it to you.. Dr Moy is a great dentist. I have been seeing him for two years now for about 8 visits and every time has been a 5 Star experience. I’ve never had to wait to be seen. Once in with Dr Moy, he takes great pains to make sure you’re, well, not in pain. He charges very fair prices and always makes sure to be thorough in his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Moy is so nice!! He’s also extremely gentle so all my nerves were gone after a few quick minutes. He answered all of my questions patiently & made sure I understood everything even as the last appointment of the day. I’m interested in teeth whitening, wisdom teeth removal & a quick gum surgery; he was extremely knowledgeable about how to complete all of these procedures & gave me options of how/when to complete them. I’m definitely going to recommend him to my coworkers since I work nearby!

Dr. Moy was phenomenal! I had an unusual situation where I was in extreme pain for what was originally thought to be a lost filling. Dr. Moy worked with me on the filling, but when the pain persisted instead of telling me to stay home and rest, he agreed to see me right away. After further investigation we learned that the tooth was fractured and an abscess had formed he was quick to respond and remove the tooth. He was incredibly professional and kind throughout the days of visits.

I've been going to Moy for more than a year, and he always has a very relaxed and patient demeanor. He takes time to answer any specific questions you may have as per your treatment plan, and he answers the questions very thoroughly... meaning he is completely transparent with you (which is what anybody would want in a dentist). I am in need of an implant, and through my treatment plan so far he has been very competent, as the treatment is going well so far. I also did not need to wait long to be seen. I highly recommend Dr. Moy for your dental needs.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I was impressed by this office. The doctor really took his time to listen to my history and concerns and was accomodating to my needs. I didn’t feel like he was trying to sell me any work which I did not need. The doctor himself did the cleaning and it was the best I had ever gotten. I had some other work done as well, and have no complaints. Manhattan has many dentists to choose from, and I have jumped from doctor to doctor all my life. However, I felt very comfortable with Dr Moy and look forward to returning.

Dr Moy is far and away the best dentist I have ever seen. After seeing him for a series of issues I needed taken care of, I have not one complaint - I can’t praise him enough in this review, but I’ll try!
I generally hate seeing the dentist and had such an unpleasant experience that I waited four years to see another dentist. Unfortunately with so much time passing, I ended up needing two root canals and three cavities filled.
A friend highly recommended Dr Moy to me, and with all the work I needed I assumed I would again have a bad experience. Not only did Dr Moy surpass my expectations - he even managed to make getting multiple root canals and cavities a PLEASANT and nearly pain free experience.
Dr Moy is really friendly and professional. He is very skilled - not only did he manage to complete all the work quickly and efficiently, he did so without making any mistakes and I have needed no follow ups.
He gives plenty of attention to your comfort and made sure to keep checking on my pain level. Fortunately he gave me as much of the numbing agent (lidocaine? I forget what it’s called) to ensure I felt no pain whatsoever. All my family members and I are typically very insensitive to the numbing agents and gave plenty of horror stories of other dentists not giving enough (we sometimes have needed 6 or 7 shots to be fully numb) and even brushing us off when we complain of pain. Dr Moy was the complete opposite - and whatever he used quickly wore off within an hour or two.
Dr Moy also had very convenient times available (which as anyone working in NYC knows is really important) and was incredibly flexible with scheduling appointments and even rescheduling when I needed it.
Paperwork was really easy with him as well, and other than a quick few forms and giving him a copy of my insurance card, I pretty much didn’t need to do anything else to get everything squared away.
Dr Moy even asked if I would like any music of my choice played in the background to help relax me or distract me from the procedures which was a really nice touch.
Ultimately I can not recommend him highly enough. I’ve never had or even heard of someone having such a good experience with a dentist, and now actually look forward to having semi annual check ups and cleanings with my dentist. Thanks a lot Dr Moy!

I went to see Dr Moy for a cleaning and check up after a good friend of mine recommended me to him. I am so happy I finally found a wonderful dentist. He made sure I was comfortable at all times, and took his time to answer all my questions. He also recommended a wisdom tooth extraction. I was terrified at the beginning but he explained everything throughly and made feel less anxious about the procedure. It literally took him less than a minute to take my tooth out and it was absolutely pain free, I didn’t even feel pain when he was giving me the anesthesia injection. I will be recommending Dr Moy to all my friends.
