I would highly recommend Dr. Silverman for any of your dental needs. I have a serious fear of the dentist and had not been to one in 25 years. I decided to take a real leap of faith and make an appointment and knew I had made the right decision after my first phone contact with them. Stephanie, their secretary, gave me an amazing pep talk and I committed and actually went to the appointment.
I have had one visit so far and I literally feel like part of a family. I felt so cared for and cared about by every single person in the office. I was also concerned about being able to afford it - they worked that out too! Look no further for a dentist!!

He concentrates much of his course work on dental implants. And to this end, he has been AWARDED A FELLOWSHIP IN THE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF OF ORAL IMPLANTOLOGISTS.
His advanced training and credentials enable him to offer you the highest standard of dental care for maintaining, restoring or enhancing a lasting smile.
PROFESSIONAL AWARDS
Throughout the last 28 years Dr. Silverman has immersed himself in DENTAL CONTINUING EDUCATION. In 2003 he was RECOGNIZED by the ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY and AWARDED FELLOWSHIP IN THE ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY. This represented over 500 hours of continuing education and passing of a challenging all day examination in all phases of General Dentistry. This honor is BESTOWED ON ONLY 130 DENTISTS IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND.
Dr. Silverman has continued his quest to bring only the finest care to his patients and in 2008 was awarded MASTERSHIP IN THE ACADEMY OF GENERAL DENTISTRY. This HONOR IS BESTOWED ON ONLY 5% of the dentists in the State of Maryland and represents an additional 600 hours of Continuing Education over and above Fellowship for a total of 1100 hours of Continuing Education. For Mastership the Continuing Education hours must be in the form of at least 400 hours of participation courses spread over all 11 disciplines of General Dentistry. Only 5% of all dentists nationwide have achieved this award.
In addition, the Academy of General Dentistry Accolades, Dr. Silverman has become a FELLOW OF THE INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF ORAL IMPLANTOLOGISTS. This is an organization that represents dentists who place and restore dental implants throughout the world. He has in recent years focused his dental continuing education on dental implants and the significant challenges that they represent. He feels that dental implants represent a quantum leap in the treatment of missing teeth and wanted to be one of the first general dentists in the area to offer complete dental implant services to his patients.
Dr. Silverman is an avid road bicyclist riding 5-6 days per week when the weather and the daylight permit. He likes long bicycle rides of 40 or more miles and frequently participates in bicycle rides for charitable causes.
He also enjoys skiing and tinkering with computers.

• CareCredit® – plans with low monthly payments, no money down, and no interest for a specified time for qualified patients. CareCredit® is a credit card; however, unlike other credit cards, it offers no interest if your balance is paid in full within the promotional period. Most plans are from 6 to 24 months, but they also offer extended plans of up to 60 months. With all of the CareCredit® plans there are no pre-payment penalties and no annual fees.
• Lending Club: Patient Solution? – low monthly payments for elective treatments. You can finance from $499 to $40,000 with your choice of payment plans. You pay no interest if the loan amount is paid in full within 6, 12, 18, or 24 months, depending on the plan you choose. Extended plans up to 84 months are also available. You can qualify for a Lending Club? plan by filling out an online application. There are no initial payments, so you can start your treatments right away, and there are no penalties for pre-payment.
