Dr. Vargas received his education at the Institute of Health Sciences in his native Colombia in 1991 where he earned a degree in dentistry. In 1993, he came to the United States and attended New York University and earned his degree in orthodontics, followed by his degree in pediatric dentistry in 1995. Most recently he obtained an Orthodontic degree from Nova Southeastern University and was an assistant professor in the departments of pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. Dr. Vargas has made South Florida his home and is practicing in Cooper City and Aventura. He resides in Weston with his wife, Lina Vargas who is a General Dentist, and his two sons. In his spare time he likes to play soccer and snow ski.
