As Dr. Esterley progressed in his studies, he realized that he wanted a career in healthcare that allowed him to hone his artistic skills, because deep down, he learned that he was more of an artist than a scientist.
He earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed a general practice residency at the Philadephia VA Medical Center. He shares that his favorite part of dentistry is helping patients overcome their fear of dentistry.
When not working with patients, Dr. Esterley likes to cook, exercise, play video games and travel. He loves animals (especially his cat!), and he loves thrills. He is a self-described adrenaline junky who enjoys roller coasters and theme parks.
