Dr. Maniscalco's confidence and gentleness helped put me at ease during the first procedure of several procedures, and I feel like I'm in experienced and skilled hands and on my way to fine dental health again.

Joe Maniscalco is punctual, professional, personable, confident, competent, caring, always at ease. I went to him for an implant and three crowns. He kept me fully informed throughout the process over my several visits. His planning was such that it minimized the number of visits while maximizing the progress each visit. I have to say that I love his method of injecting novocaine where he firmly grasps with one hand the lip/cheek near the gum and tugs rapidly and repeatedly while with the other hand he injects the novocaine. The net result is you can barely feel the needle! Go to Joe for your dental needs. He's great!

I can't say enough about my positive experience with Dr. Maniscalco so far.
He has great bedside manner in explaining everything before it's about to happen.
Once you have an appointment, they get you in right away.
At one point, he actually called me to update me on an issue with my tooth. I was surprised to have the actual dentist call me back form my message.

I first saw Dr. Maniscalco after about 5 months of pain and frustration following a root canal during which time I received no real help from my treating dentist despite multiple visits and phone calls on my part. I proceeded to see a handful of other specialists after seeing Dr. Maniscalco, but he was the only one who gave me straightforward answers and an actual plan of action (plus a diagnosis of a cracked tooth and recommendation for removal, both of which proved true a couple of months later). These facts alone would have prompted to me to recommend his office to anyone; however, he truly went above and beyond when he made himself available via email while he was on vacation in Greece! It was a difficult and scary time for me and he provided invaluable remote guidance. I can't thank him enough. [As the icing on the cake, the receptionist is very friendly, personable, and calming. Plus, the sitting room is not littered with advertisements and product placement! Just a great experience overall.]

I’ve been going to Dr Maniscalco since he first came to Arlington (and in fact I’ve been going to that office as far back as when Dr Wright owned the practice). I’ve grown very comfortable with him and like the changes he has made in the practice. To date I’ve had a number of filling replaced, a couple of crowns, and cleanings every six months. The work has been excellent… I see no need to even think about changing dentists.
I have always used a specialist for root canals (I’ve had about 6 over the years) and today I felt comfortable about letting Dr Maniscalso do the job. Well today was the day for the root canal and when I went for the appointment he didn’t like what he saw and referred me to an oral surgeon to have the tooth removed. Even the recommendation for the oral surgeon was excellent.
