I live overseas but I had a dental Emergency while visiting over here. I booked an appointment for Dr. Zichella the night before the appointment. There was no wait time. Dr. and staff were all super nice and professional!

Dr. Joseph Zichella earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (formerly known as The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey). He completed his General Practice Residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, where he received advanced training in oral surgery, endodontics (root canal therapy), cosmetic dentistry, and comprehensive restorative treatment followed by additional implant training at Columbia University. Before attending dental school, Dr. Zichella taught high school biology for five years in both public and private school settings.
Dr. Zichella is committed to continuing education and takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to serve the dental care needs of his patients better and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the New Jersey Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Zichella enjoys hiking, golfing, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and two wonderful children.

I had a great experience with Dr. Zichella. I experienced no pain for the 2 cavities that I had filled. My 9 year old son and 3 year old daughter were initially nervous about going to the dentist, but Dr. Zichella put them at ease and had no fear about their second appointment.

Dr. Zichella was very gentle and took his time to explain the procedures I required and what they entailed. The office was clean and staff was courteous. I was very pleased with his interaction with my toddler at his very first cleaning. I highly recommend Dr. Zichella for both adult and pediatric patients.
