Dr. Hernandez was born in Colombia. He received his degree as a dentist in 1996 from Universidad Javeriana of Bogota in 2003. After practicing for several years in Colombia, he moved to New York City to begin training in orthodontics in the international program at the University of New York. After completing the program, he continued with the advanced Dentistry program and he earned his second degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of New York in 2007. Since then, he has been practicing as an official of the American army with the rank of captain at Fort Stewart, Georgia. Since June 2010, Dr. Hernandez has a practice in Atlanta. He is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry & American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
