She received her degree in General Dentistry from Oregon Health and Sciences School of Dentistry in 2012. She keeps very busy going on adventures with her fantastic family, her husband Scott, her mother Galina, and her two children: Sophia (9 years old) and Andrew (21 years old). Her favorite family activities include going to parks, zoos, museums, hiking, and traveling. Julia is an avid learner of new dental procedures. In addition to a plethora of skills, Julia is certified to place dental implants, and to perform the Chao Pinhole Surgery Technique.
