I’ve had anxiety about going to the dentist for years and woke up one day and decided to make my appt. I was incredibly nervous and scared. Dr. Raanan and his team were so kind and considerate. Fully talked me through my treatment plan. Alliance is AMAZING. This is the only team I’ll trust with my teeth!

The review is long overdue. Dr. Raanan is absolutely fantastic! I have been a patient for 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Raanan and his staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. Sol is great and fun to talk to as is Diane; both have worked with Dr. Raanan for years. Whenever I have an issue, they make sure to get me in and they make it a point to know their patients. I like going to an office where they know me by name and remember things we have discussed on previous visits. I also want to mention that in the past, before I had dental insurance, they would work with me in regard to payments. I highly recommend Dr. Raanan's office for their friendliness, customer service and quality of care.

Utilizing the advancements in Periodontal plastic surgery and my knowledge in minimally invasive techniques, we are able to aesthetically enhance your natural smile. It is my commitment to provide exceptional quality care and comfort to my patients in helping them look and feel their very best.
Dr. Justin Raanan was born and raised in Beverly Hills. He graduated with Magna Cum Laude Latin Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles in Anthropology Biological Science (B.S). He further pursued his passion for dentistry at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Raanan earned his certificate in Periodontology and obtained a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in oral biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Justin Raanan is a highly trained specialist in the field of Periodontics and dental implants. He strongly emphasizes patient comfort and new minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Raanan believes in a team approach to successfully address his patient goals.
Dr. Raanan has conducted and published clinical and scientific research in bone regeneration, stem cell research and implants dentistry. At Harvard, he collaborated with Dr. Kevin Guze and developed an innovative lateral window graft-less sinus lift.

Dr. Raanan is great! The staff are all very friendly and respectful and I am very happy with the care I received. Dr. Raanan is very knowledgeable and kind. He answered all of my questions and gave me a lot of great advice on how to improve my dental habits. I had not been to the dentist in years, and he helped me get my teeth all clean and back on track. I felt very comfortable being honest with him. His location is very convenient, and I was always seen right on time. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Raanan and his team have been so nice and helpful as I am getting some more involved work on my teeth. In my first meeting, he and his team responded compassionately about my very serious fear of the dentist. He made sure to walk through (picture by picture) of areas that needed work and what would be involved and why it was needed. I have now had 2 deep cleaning appointments with him and he has never judged how nervous I am, but instead is reassuring that I am now on the right track and that we have a good plan. Although I'm still anxious, I know I'm in good hands and that he really is trying hard to make my experience as good as it can be.

Everyone here is amazing, from Dr. Raanan to his incredible staff!!! He is always friendly, informative, thorough, and thoughtful. My questions are always answered, and my time is genuinely valued. Anna and Heather are the sweetest, but everyone in general makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. Finding the right dentist had been a struggle (I have gone gone through so many) for me until last year when I referred to Dr. Raanan. I highly recommend him and he is truly the best dentist I've ever had the privilege to have.

Dr. Raanan runs a top-notch office. He takes the time to explain every procedure and even takes digital photos of your teeth to show you what he is talking about He takes the pain out of going to the dentist. His staff is also very courteous and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him!

I went to this dentist for a second opinion, and he was extremely helpful and informative. The technology in the office is super up-to-date and it enhanced my experience while in their care. The doc was very patient while explaining and showing me what was going on with my teeth and he never pressured me to give my business to him. I absolutely trust this guy.

To say my experience at Dr. Raanan's went well would be an understatement During the middle of the 2020 COVID pandemic, I needed emergency oral surgery Dr. Raanan and his team made me feel so comfortable and at ease when I was absolutely terrified. From the relaxing atmosphere to the welcoming staff, my fears were quickly put to rest. Dr. Raanan walked me through step by step on exaclty what to expect before we began. The actual procedure went flawlessly, and was incredibly quick. I am so grateful I found Dr. Raanan's office and look forward to visiting again.

Dr. Raanan is the best. I always leave the office with a big smile, both because my teeth are sparkly clean and because he is such a friendly, charismatic fdocotr. The entire staff at the office is super competent and professional. I can't imagine a better experience at the dentist.

I hate dentists. Seriously. I did not go to the dentist for three years and was terrified to be yelled at for ignoring my teeth, as happened with my prior dentist. Not only was the dental hygienist. Tessa, very gentle with my cleaning, but Dr. Raanan was so great and made me feel very comfortable. The sound of drilling is enough to send me into a panic attack so Dr. Raana gave me the headphones to drown the noise and patiently took breaks if I needed them. Highly recommend.

Exceptional all-around experience. I have been to a variety of dentists throughout my life and have never found someone who is as compassionate and caring as Dr. Raanan. He was thorough in his exam and explanation of the problems, along with providing the right treatment plan that was friendly, to not only our pocketbook, but to the insurance provider, too. You always seem to feel at ease in his care-and for me that was important since my dental procedure was quite complex and a potentially painful process. I would strongly recommend Dr. R to everyone since I believe you will see him as a dentist in a much different, light, and a little more human than you find in most other places. And before I forget, I have to say that in most of my past experiences with dentists I felt like there was an element of pushed procedures that were unnecessary and a sales process where they lean on you to do it right then and there. When going to Dr. R, you always feel like you are there for your health and not wondering what the upsell is.

He explained so much to me about my overall gum and dental health, which no other doctor has ever done before. Heather my dental hygienist was also kind!

There were only 3 periodontists in my area that took my insurance and I am glad that I chose Dr. Raanan's office. Dr. Raanan was highly personable and friendly while professional and knowledgable. He and his staff made me feel very comfortable from the moment I walked into the office and they spent a good amount of time with me explaining in detail the diagnosis and treatment plan.
In addition, his office is very clean and has a gorgeous view, as well as free parking close by!

Dr. Justin Raanan is gentle, kind, professional a great periodontist. I was a little nervous about getting an implant. Dr. Raanan explained the procedure step by step. His work was meticulous. He even paid attention to my facial expressions. He kept asking if I was okay or in pain. Thoughtful!! He even called me twice after the procedure to check on me. I had an allergic reaction to something. He saw me right away. He also had me text him daily of my progress. Considerate** If you need a great periodontist call him you wont be disappointed!

I was very nervous going into my surgery two weeks ago to have a tissue graft procedure. I was told by many that this surgery was painful, risky and not fun. Dr. Justin greeted me with and understanding smile never took his eyes off my well being through the whole process. He was very descriptive & explained every step of the process. With a hands of a true artist, Dr. Justin preformed a complete painless, meticulously precise surgery with no pain post surgery and I am extremely blessed / fortunate to be the recipient as a result I can not recommend Dr. Justin enough!

I had a crown lengthening done today and it was a wonderful experience!! Both the doctor & the staff were amazing. Completely professional and knowledgeable. Also very gentle. I was worried about the procedure but they made it easy. Beautiful office & a great experience. I highly recomend Dr. Raanan.

Dr. Justin Raanan is by far the best periodontist I had. I've visited three periodontists prior and he's the first who actually cares about my well being rather than my money. He explained what the process was going to be in full detail and is very honest. The staff were very professional and the view is breathtaking!
