Dr. Erani is kind and genuinely concerned with your dental hygiene. We always have pleasant conversation and she remembers me upon a visit. Her staff is efficient without feeling rushed, and I've never waited more than 10 minutes in her cozy office.

She is so friendly and welcoming, and as a first-time patient, I immediately felt at ease. Everyone at the office was very professional, efficient and polite. The bag of freebies after the appointment was definitely a pleasant surprise, and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. Karen Erani completed her dental school education at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she graduated with honors in the top 10% of her class. After dental school, Dr. Erani completed a Postgraduate General Dentistry Residency at Coler Goldwater Specialty Hospital on Roosevelt Island, NY where she gained experience treating both medically complex patients and special needs patients. During that time, she also trained with some of New York's leading doctors and concentrated on restoration of large implant cases. Dr. Erani is a certified Invisalign provider and will soon become faculty at the New Jersey Dental School where she hopes to inspire and contribute to the success of future dentists.
Dr. Erani prides herself on giving her patients the most ethical and up-to-date comprehensive treatments.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and 1½-year-old son at their Upper East Side apartment. She enjoys figure skating, skiing and tennis in her spare time.

My overall experience at DR smile design was great. When I first walked in, I'd not know I was in a doctors office because it was so beautiful & because of the decor. I had a wonderful dental experince with Dr. erani. She was patient and not at all judgement about my lackadaisical flossing tendencies. Most importantly, she made sure that I understood what was going on in my mouth by explaining in lay men's terms what she observed and th course of action she recommended.
