A top notch office, everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Alvarado was great and answered all my questions. They even allowed you to begin the Invisalign process the same day as my consult. I wish I had been more prepared to do that as it would have been more convenient and cheaper, but I'm scheduled to do it next week! The office had coffee and chocolates too, a nice bonus.

Dr. Karla Alvarado's interest in the healthcare field began as a young child, and was only enhanced by her own orthodontic treatment. She has always been fascinated by the transformation that occurs during treatment, and loves helping others experience the health and self-esteem benefits that orthodontics provides.
As a child, Dr. Alvarado moved several times, living in Florida, Alabama, and New Jersey before attending high school in Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Biology, and completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine Magna cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Alvarado then earned her Certificate in Public Health from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed her General Practice Residency from Montefiore Medical Center. To complete her journey to become an orthodontist, she returned to the University of Puerto Rico's Orthodontic Graduate Program where she earned her Master's in Dental Sciences.
Dr. Alvarado is bilingual in Spanish and English and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. She believes it is important to be involved in the community and receives great satisfaction from helping patients with cleft lip and palate. Working with the team allows her to not only improve patients' aesthetics, but allows for better nutrition and speech development as well.

I came in for a consult for my daughter and this was the only office willing to work with us on a payment plan. We were able to get her braces on the same day! She was so excited. Both Dr. Alvarado and Dr. Roberts have been great at Blue Ridge Orthodontics. And I love the front desk crew and the assistants - they are always so happy. Even at 7 AM!

Awesome Dr. A sweete, most important thing that I could comunicate with her in spanish. She was very patient with me, she explained all the procedure. acme in the office with a smile and left with a smile as well... Thanks to Dr. Alvoradu, I would exteremly recomend her. :)

Everyone is very great at this office. I was nervous to come in to get braces as an adult, but Dr. Alvarado said they would do invisalign! It's been 9 months and I'm thrilled so far.
