When entering the office I arrived 15min early which I recommend to fill out paperwork as a new patient. Once I arrived I went to the front desk and a big curly hair young lady welcomed me with a warm smile. She confirmed my appointment had me fill out paperwork everything else I submitted with ZocDoc so it was a smooth intake. I was called about 10th after to start X-ray and the ladies who supported were also very pleasant. I received a cleaning which was informative, comfortable, and non judgmental. Lastly I met my doctor and we went over game plan to get me back im the better oral health and next steps. I have further appointments and can honestly say the staff is lovely all you would need is to come prepared and be professional as they are all here to help. 10/10!!

Appreciated the friendliness of the team as well as the cleanliness of the office. Waiting was the only issue I had; my appointment was at 1:45 and I got there a bit early at 1:15 but wasn’t seen until after 2. Otherwise the visit was very quick and efficient.

Dr. Katayoun Yaraghi-Josephs is the founder of CASCADA DENTAL SPA, a state-of-the-art dental practice focused on bringing increased access-to-care and quality services to the underserved community of Washington Heights-Inwood in Manhattan.
She is also a volunteer faculty and lecturer of Dental Ethics at Columbia University and an esthetic dentist with over eight years of clinical experience. She completed a general practice residency at Long Island College Hospital in New York after graduating simultaneously from Columbia University’s School of Dental & Oral Surgery and School of Public Health with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and Masters in Public Health in only four years.
While at Columbia University, Dr. Yaraghi-Josephs served as Class President and Community Service Coordinator for the Student National Dental Association’s community-based activities in the Washington Heights/ Inwood area. Her outstanding leadership, community service and academic excellence were recognized with numerous awards including the ADEA Listerine Preventive Dentistry Award; International Pierre Fauchard Academy Award for Leadership; and the American Association for Women Dentists’ award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership. In
addition, Dr. Yaraghi-Josephs was a grant recipient from the National Institutes of Health to research the epidemiology of oral cancer in London, England. She also received a research grant from Columbia University’s Center for the Health of Urban Minorities to reduce tobacco use among ethnic minorities in the Washington Heights/ Inwood area.
