This was by far the BEST dentist experience I have ever had!
I came in with the intention of finding a dentist who could start some dentures for me before my upcoming full mouth extraction procedure. But in total opposition to all other dentists I've been to this year, Dr. Kim took a look at my crazy and told me that he wouldn't pull out ALL my teeth because he believes I have salvageable teeth still.
And he even wrote out a full and clear explanation of his recommended treatment program, including full costs and whether he expects Medicaid (Denti-Cal) to approve certain procedures, etc. So I literally have a complete list of expected costs, both out of pocket and billed to insurance.
Oh, and beyond that, he also let me keep my appointment the following day at my oral surgeon (remember I was going to have ALL my teeth pulled?), except he asked for me to show the surgeon an updated extraction diagram of which teeth he recommended saving.
All in all, Dr. Kim is a truly great dentist who I totally trust with my health...And not to mention I am sure he will never rip me off! I realize dentists get paid on less than peanuts via Medicaid/Denti-Cal, so I appreciate Dr. Kim's caring still more. Yes I am in pain today but thanks to a whim appointment I scheduled with Dr. Kim, I still have several teeth remaining. And for that he has my extreme gratitude.
Also, his receptionist and assistant are both kind, caring, and personable. BAsically, the vibe you'll get in this office is one of caring and interest in your wellbeing. I can not believe I am saying this, but I actually had an awesome experience at the dentist this time!

My personal philosophy in dentistry is to make sure that my patients feel relaxed when they are sitting in the dental chair. The majority of patients that come into the office are so nervous. I believe that past experiences from before create this fear.
I have 35 years of experience as a General Dentist and Prosthodontist which means I specialize in crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants.
I also make sure every patient is taken care of. Most of the dental procedures are done myself including molar root canal treatment, wisdom tooth extraction and implant surgery. I have the extended academic foundation as well as the clinical experience to treat you in the best way possible.

They were amazing, professional and very sweet, and also very fast and clean. I loved the way they are handling everything through COVID. I came in to check for my gum because it has problems, Dr. Kim tried his best to assist and help me to find a solution for it, but unfortunately my gum has been already really damaged and there wasn’t a lot to be done. Still love the assistance and help they provided me with.

Amazing, truly nice person and smart to boot. Gave me an exact schedule of treatment and cost so no surprises or bait and switch. Everything in writing. Gave me a immediate filling for my missing front tooth while waiting for implant so my wife will look at me without laughing!
