Kenny Alejandro Robles, DDS, was born and raised in Cuba. Dr. Robles moved to the United States in 2007, when he was in his third year of dental school in Cuba. Once in the United States, he continued to pursue a career in dentistry. While at UCLA, Kenny Alejandro began mentoring Latino youth who aspired to transfer to a four-year university. During this time, he also worked with the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), performing research that focused on stem cells in submandibular salivary glands.
