Since I was a new patient, one of the receptionists gave me a tour when I first got there. Then I waited for about 3 minutes before they took me back for x-rays and pictures. I only saw Dr. Hamilton for a minute, but the ladies who were treating me were very nice. I scheduled a cleaning for two days later. It would’ve been nice if they had hygienists available right then, but other than that it was a very speedy and nice process.

Kent Hamilton, DDS has been practicing periodontics in San Antonio since 1984. A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, he received his certificate in periodontics from the UTHSC at San Antonio. Dr. Hamilton was an Airforce Pilot who served a one-year residency in the U.S. Airforce, where he practiced general dentistry for the next six years. He has taught at the Texas A&M Department of Biochemistry and at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and San Antonio. He is a father of two children. He is active in numerous professional associations and has published papers on a variety of topics, including grafting techniques and soft and hard tissue regeneration. He has been featured in publications such as, Inside Magazine, San Antonio Magazine, Texas Monthly and Texas Super Dentists. He is a well-known speaker who is published and lectures both Nationally and Internationally. He has received numerous awards and is recently named “Whos Who” in the Global Directory, “America’s Top Dentist” for Periodontics and Implants in The Guide to Americas Top Dentist Consumer Research Council of America. The Consumer Business Review also recognizes Dr. Hamilton as the Periodontist of the Year both in 2000 and 2002.

I returned to Dr. Hamilton because I have received only the highest quality of care from him and his office staff. I know his ability to take care of my teeth and make me feel comfortable with his bedside manner, phone calls to check up on me in the evening, and choosing what is best for me at the time of service. I have had horrible experiences from past dentist offices and he makes me feel assured that all will be well and I will not have to endure unnecessary pain and anxiety. Dr Hamilton and his staff were amazingly efficient and knowledgeable. The moment I arrived at the office I was processed and taken directly to an exam room where the exam promptly started. X rays and photos were taken then the Dr came in and evaluated my mouth.
