I found Dr. Sheikh through a random internet search. I'm not usually so lucky with those, but she turned out to be a great dentist. Some recent dentists I've used seem to over treat, suggesting procedures I don't necessarily need. Unlike these other dentists, I don't get the sense that Dr. Sheikh is trying to retire early based on my dental work. I've been so pleased with her work that I've recommended her to friends and family. Family atmosphere and friendly staff.

I feel right at home when I go to her clinic. Staff is very professional. Very helpful. Very nice. They explain procedures thoroughly if you have any questions. Whatever treatment you need, it will be done with ease and comfort.

Dr. Shaikh and her staff are always friendly and answer any questions that I have very thoroughly. The office is very clean and they have the latest technology: digital x-rays that she reviews with you on a TV monitor in the exam room, a digital 360° x-ray machine that shows all of your teeth in one panoramic view (also reviews and discusses with you in the exam room) and 3D imaging (I've never had this imaging done but it is available at her office). Her staff has always done a thorough job when polishing my teeth, that is not something that I have experienced at other dentists. When I did have to have filings, Dr. Shaikh took care to make sure that I didn't feel anything and that I was happy with the feel of them in my mouth. On this visit, Dr. Shaikh noticed that I was wincing while she was removing tartar from my gum line and recommended a treatment for tooth sensitivity be applied to my teeth. Once again, she took the care to make sure that I was comfortable with the feel of my teeth/mouth after the procedure. Dr. Shaikh is the only dentist in the office so there are times that you have to wait for a while in the exam room. I personally don't mind, I would rather have a personalized experience than a quick visit. I have recommended Kedzie Dental to both my fiancé and my sister.
